Okay im gonna start the conversation here...Ive seen several of Bujold's films, each varying in genre and the frequency of her apperances in the respective films. Here are the ones ive personally seen:

Anne of the 1000 days
Coma
Choose Me
Dead Ringers
The House of Yes
King of Hearts

I may have seen like one or two more, I saw one where she's like a love conselour on the radio..i think that was choose me. :)

Coma and Anne of the 1000 days were her most spectacular, I think. She starred opposite equally great actors, Richard Burton as Henry VIII and Michael Douglass as one of the doctors. Gotta love that shower scene in Coma! LOL. Okay, that's my biness talking.

Oh and Chris...there are several pics of her im loving!!!!! Not just one! She so adorable....omg

Even thought I've seen Dead Ringers a million times (Cronenberg Fan!) I have to admit my favorite Bujold flicks are Anne of the Thousand Days, which I think is probably her best role and I do like Coma, it was just an entertaining film in general.

I just realized I haven't answered this yet!

Well, first off, I love her in anything. I LOVE all the movies you guys have mentioned, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would have to be the 1970 film "Act of the Heart." That movie was how I "discovered" her. It was written and directed by her then husband Paul Almond, who also directed her in two other films that make up a "trilogy" (the 3 movies have completely different stories, but go together thematically and all 3 revolve around Genevieve Bujold's character). "Act of the Heart" (the middle one) is by far the best of the three. There's a little info on those films as well as a few great pics at paulalmond.com

PS to Spencer: Yes, it was "Choose Me" and my friend Liz and I LOVE the shower scene too! :)

*screams* I WANNA MEET GENEVIEVE!

I do have a funny story to share. When I was in Canada and having a chat with my friend and some of her friends, I brought up how much I loved Genevieve. One of the ladies said, "You know Genevieve killed her husband for cheating on her with this woman on a ski trip but was never put in jail for it." I'm like..."What? No...not Gen..she's too sweet!" But she continued to be adamant, and I believed her.

Then she calls my friend later saying, "OH MY GOD IM SOOO SORRY. I WAS THINKING OF SOME OTHER CLASSICAL ACTRESS! CAN YOU FORGIVE ME?" I laughed and said, "Don't sweat it."

What an experience. *hugs Genevieve*

I like most of her films, although some are too dry for my tastes. My favourites are: Anne of the Thousand Days, Last Night, Coma and Alex & The Gypsy.
If you'd like more information, have a look on my website www.bujold.co.uk
Thanks and I hope the group gets more members. I'll place a link on my site to it.
