Yes, I'm a very curious person. I think that's why it's so intriguing- because it's mysterious and challenging. It's also a great way to look at the Universe from a different perspective. I haven't really decided where I'm going with it. I've just hopped on and I'm enjoying the ride. :)

It's the only way I verify my feeling of connectedness with everyone and everything. We may not know everything about astrology, but I feel I know enough that it doesn't require any wild leaps of faith.

Some people view the glass as half-full and others view it half-empty.
I'm more interested in the glass itself.

baZING!!!
But seriously folks. Thats what its all about, astrology has to be related to the word 'knowledge' somehow, wheres Chris? We are all trying to know our raison d'etre.
I would have done the accent aigu, but I am simply not that crafty.

"I've also learned this system (which, when I get really brave, I might even put out for y'alls inspection some day) of "channelled" astrology from these two really incredible ladies, that has to do with using midpoint's to find the soul's path. It's really tasty, and I've done it on about 100 charts, and say it works.
My Mercury in Scorpio MUST know haha. Be brave!

Hooray! I just got back from Toronto and Niagara Falls--and I'm completely surprised to see how busy the forum has been--I don't think I'll even be able to catch up (Yes you do have ALOT to say, Sarah, LOL).
First of all--Davison's are completely reliable (I noticed the debate in another thread). I can say with confidence that you don't need to be a "believer" if you actually do the research on them over and over and over, especially with intimate couples (the more intimate the relationship between 2 people, the more reliable the Davison)--they work like any other chart because, like Nick has stated numerous times, it is an ACTUAL point and space in time, unlike the theoretical composite midpoints (I'm not saying that Composite midpoints don't work, or aren't intriguing--they ARE, but Davison midpoints work perfectly with transits, progressions, and directions, just like a natal chart--assuming that the relationship is strong, in reality).
Back on topic though: I am obsessively passionate about astrology. I am like a mad-scientist doing astrological research. I love helping people--I love the fantasy-base behind it that offers truth--it's like a fantasy come to life. I love the math, I love how everyone is DIFFERENT and that you can see those differences by looking at the pattern of the planets at the time of their birth--I love the satisfaction of being able to successfully predict!!! I love knowing things that others don't--I love the competition that it has to offer--astrology is as much a skill as is painting, or playing sports, or what have you.
My whole life is about astrology and it will be until I die--my mission is to show the world the logic, the truth, that astrology has to offer--that it is not simlpy a philosophy or a romantic idea, but that it is something real and reliable, if used properly. I love that it is scary and that it could possibly read the future.
I plan on being a huge name in astrology one day--one that is not only known to other astrologers (or those who are interested in astrology) but to the whole world. My dream is to revolutionize astrology and to take it out of the dark that it's been in for the last thousands of years--I see no reason for it being looked down upon by ANYBODY. It deserves as much respect as science--how can humanity grow if it is ignorant of truth, of logic?
Asking this question is like asking me to write a book. Astrology is my philosophy of life--call me young and cocky, but I guarantee you that my name will be HUGE one day, and that all who are interested in astrology will be reading my books--that's a promise. I still have alot to learn, and I will always be learning--and I hope to be teaching others one day, and learning from them as well. The thing with astrology is that it needs people to devote their existence to it if it really wants to be respected--being someone who respects virtually everyone as an individual, I demand the same in return, and so does astrology.
I used to be someone who thought that astrology was bullshit.
