And here we go again. There have been so many Shows about the Star Trek Universe and there have been so many people that have made a difference. . I would have to say that my favorit officer out of the Whol ST Universe would have to be The Kligion they call Galron.. I think thats how you spell his name. He has been everywhere. He was in TNG and he was in DS9. That has to say something about his charecter. Besides him I also think that Kirk is my number one hero :)

For me, it's a tie between Spock and Scotty. Without those two to bail Kirk's butt out all the time the Enterprise would have never survived its five-year mission and the Federation would never have lasted as long as it did.
lets just say i dont know how to explain this

I would have to say Tomalak, because he was a devious bastard, and Sisko, because he didn't take any crap from anybody. When he decked Q, that made him ..1 in my book.

There's too many to choose from, however, my favorite is Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the Federation Starship Enterprise. lol I had to do that. My second is Lt. Commander Data. I really like all of the characters (especially Lwaxana Troi) because each one brings something unique to the table.

yeah, im gonna go with Picard too, but i have a certain fondness for Ro Laren/Kira Nerys (they're basically the same character). So much kick ass in such a cute little figure.

Great Call ON Garett, No one mentioned her in the great captains forum...just like I said about the others...determination and balls (or eggs in this case).

LIke I said in the above mentioned forum...data is my fav officer...I enjoyed his stints in command of both the enterprise and the...yorktown? whatever ship he was assigned to command in Picard's fleet to stop the romulans.
Why so, you know, silly ?

I'd vote for Reginald Barclay.
He's shy, clumsy around women and wicked smart.
I'm sure many of the people in this Message board have identified with him at one time or another.
Star Trek has its moments of greatness, but if "The Human adventure is just beginning", we need to remember to bring along everyone with us on that adventure-not just those that boldly go, but also those that (not so) boldly follow behind.
