I'm not going to be my angry self here. I'm simply going to state my
opinion. The U. S. Congress should not be meddling in the affairs of
Major League Baseball. Here is why; There are so many issues and
problems facing our great country, the War in Iraq, a lack of affordable
healthcare, rising costs of all consumer goods and services, just to name
a few, for the Congress to waste taxpayer money to investigate a bunch of
insecure athletes making millions of dollars while the rest of us slowly
deteriorate into a society that will have to depend on the Government to
hand feed us just enough to survive, is ridiculous. Those monies were
paid by the people to pay for legislation to make our lives easier, not to
pay for some " witch hunt " by Congress and the U. S. Attorney's office to
prove Barry Bonds used steroids! Thats all this is about. It needs to be
stopped.
Sincerely,
Willard W. Masters
