Everything is being setup for the protest. I'm looking for other outlets to get the word out. I might be posting flyers everywhere on college campuses to get support. There's about 3 weeks left.

If one comes around to Cali, I'll offer my services. :)
If this one works, it should be repeatable throughout the country. Remember, these are people we're dealing with. But these people do mean well. They just need a little knudge in the right direction.

Great. I'll keep my eyes and ears open. :)
I still think you and some friends should come out to Maryland to support this one. It's pretty cheap to get here. It's ONLY about $250-$400. A bargain.
How can you afford to miss THIS one? This way you can see firsthand how it will work.

It's not my top priority, I'm not rich and I have two children. :P
If it were out here, however... I would definetly make it a priority.
Location is important, I guess. Quite a few people have told me this. And those two kids are definitely a handicap.
I should have enough people here, at the very core of the country.

Are you serious?
I use to work for Discovery and they were always very conscience about waste and saving the Earth.
If you have an idea for a show, tell them. Protest them? HAHAHA! I'm surprised you didn't tell her to go to the Discovery in CA and do a worldwide protest.
Really - Discovery will respond better if you share with them your ideas instead of protesting them. You're going about it all wrong.
And her children are not an obstacle!

If Discover is doing such a good job of saving the earth, why are things getting WORSE??? This is my whole argument. Their programs DON'T WORK.
Her children are a handicap because they are keeping her from coming here to Maryland to protest. If she wants to protest Discovery in CA, tell us where it is so she can protest them too.
I've already asked them NICELY to save the planet, now we're going to DEMAND by protest that they do it. I'm going about it all right. Protesting works.

I'm pretty sure that he had tried to share his ideas with them..... Am I wrong? Yes, I tried to be reasonable. But like most planet-destroyers, they would not even listen. I actually went through the submission process with a modified version of Quinn just to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Now, the 'nice-talking' is over and the demanding is on!

omg discovery channel does what it can! Do you expect them to miraculously save the world?? I dont even understand what you are protesting. If anything, they are at least SLOWING DOWN the destruction of our environment. They are doing nothing to speed it up!
What about all those medications that slow down the spread of terminal diseases. They dont STOP or CURE cancer, but they surely help slow it down from spreading across your body. Do you want to protest that too because they dont cure it??
You should really think about what you are protesting here. They are probably the most environmentally friendly network out there and are doing what they can to help the environment. They obviously cant cure the world on their own.

"Slowing down" the destruction???? I don't see anything "slowing down." I see the destruction INCREASING at an alarming rate. So YES, what they are doing certainly IS NOT helping, but doing the opposite. One might think that their shows are advertisements for logging companies and farmers to go there and destroy those areas of the planet.
In the meanwhile, they make it look like there's plenty of 'animals' on their shows and that everything is just dandy and you can sit on your ass and leave it in their capable hands.

Dude, you are nuts. I could think of ten million companies that are doing more to hurt the environment than the Discovery Channel. And on top of that, you just suggested that woman pay 400 to fly to your stupid little protest that will accomplish nothing. How can you tell her to do that? That will hurt the environment and give airlines (which hurt the environment) more money.
Your basic argument is that because the Discovery Channel hasn't cured the world's ecological disaster, you are protesting them? Doesn't that assume they are also the entire cause or have some ability to solve the problem that they are not using?
You are a nut-job. I am protesting you. Because you haven't solved the world's ecological problems. And by using your time to protest as opposed to plant trees or pick up cans and bottles to recycle, you have done nothing to solve ecological problems. I am going to start my own protest of you at the same place. Our argument is that Lee is a horrible human being because he wastes his time doing ANYTHING other than saving the world from environmental disaster and is too stupid to realize his time would be better spent helping the environment than having some narcissistic protest of the Discovery Channel that will accomplish ABSOLUTELY FRICKING NOTHING.
Under your stellar logic, you would boycott Joe's Coffee Shop instead of the thirteen Starbucks surrounding it if you were protesting Capitalism. You're dumb.
I've read Ishmael, and Story of B, and Beyond Civilization. All good books, but you sir, have gone retarded with them.
