We will have our own music section at three Border's locations! We can now get independent musicians' CDs on the shelf, have them in store for CD signings and performances, and have their CDs for sale at JazzFest! This is BIG news because a national chain, for once, is reaching out to the local community instead of just taking from it. Most corporations of this size make it impossible for mom and pop music shops to compete. And it is that type of store where independent musicians usually get their foot in the door. But now, through Neworleansmusicians.net, indies can get sales right along side artists with national distribution deals!
