The On Demand movie channel Fearnet is homophobic and edits the gay content of their film. I just sat through the most boring film called Dark Harbor to see the supposedly infamous gay kiss between the actor who plays Snape and a pretty boy. But instead, there's a fade out, and a hug. I go online and do some research, and it turns out there was a very innocent 10 second gay kiss. We see a person in a black hood approach the male lead, they start to kiss, the hood falls down, and it's revealed that it's the boy from the film (and by boy I mean 29 years old) and Snape are really lovers. But on the edited fearnet version -- the only edit from what I can tell -- they cut to right before the kiss, so we never have the big reveal as the hood falls off -- to the dialogue right after the kiss where it's implied they're lovers. I think we should all write Fearnet and say in 2007 this is unacceptable. Especially in such an innocent scene that's so short and crucial to the movie.
