Do you ever wonder why inerrancy of Scripture comes up every once in a while? Well I have my own theory and I have backed it up with verses of Scripture. It is this: if anyone can say that they have proven that there are parts or whole sections of Scripture that are false or are only fiction, etc. then certain beings have seemly won a battle; because Scripture is the only means to tell if what certain beings, spiritual or human, are saying are in line with what God want us to know and follow. For instance, I hear a minister say something on TV and it sounds good, but I make sure what is said is truth by seeing what it says in Scripture. Another for instance, I read something by someone saying they got their truthful information from spiritual voices, I then check Scripture and find out that the "spirits truth" is in opposition to what Scripture states as truth. So whether Scripture is inerrant, infallible, or not is important to finding out what truths to follow.

Here are some verses showing the inerrancy and infallibility of the written Word of God that some call the Holy Bible or The Scriptures.

Psalms 19:7-14; 119:89-176; Zechariah 7:8-12; Matthew 5:17-19; 19:4-5; 21:13; Luke 4:3-12; John 10:33-36; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; Ephesians 3:1-12; 2 Timothy 3:12-17; 1 Peter 1:17-25; 2 Peter 1:19-21

I have used two versions of Scripture to help others get a fuller meaning of the English translations. "The Scriptures" published by Institute For Scripture Research. Internet Web Page - http://www.messianic.co.za and The King James Version (Authorized)

The Torah of יהוה is perfect, bringing back the being; The witness of יהוה is trustworthy, making wise the simple; The orders of יהוה are straight, rejoicing the heart; The command of יהוה is clear, enlightening the eyes; The fear of יהוה is clean, standing forever; The right-rulings of יהוה are true, They are righteous altogether, More desirable than gold, Than much fine gold; And sweeter than honey and the honeycomb. Also, Your servant is warned by them, In guarding them there is great reward. Who discerns mistakes? Declare me innocent from those that are secret, Also keep Your servant back from presumptuous ones, Do not let them rule over me. Then shall I be perfect, and innocent of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be pleasing before You, O יהוה, my rock and my redeemer. (Psalms 19:7-14 The Scriptures 1998+)

The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. [Psalms 19:7-14 The King James Version (Authorized)]

Forever, O יהוה, Your word stands firm in the heavens. Your trustworthiness is to all generations; You established the earth, and it stands. According to Your right-rulings They have stood to this day, For all are Your servants. If Your Torah had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. Let me never forget Your orders, For by them You have given me life. I am Yours, save me; For I have sought Your orders. The wrong have waited for me to destroy me; I understand Your witnesses. I have seen an end of all perfection; Your command is exceedingly broad. O how I love Your Torah! It is my study all day long. Your commands make me wiser than my enemies; For it is ever before me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your witnesses are my study. I understand more than the aged, For I have observed Your orders. I have restrained my feet from every evil way, That I might guard Your word. I have not turned aside from Your right-rulings, For You Yourself have taught me. How sweet to my taste has Your word been, More than honey to my mouth! From Your orders I get understanding; Therefore I have hated every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. I have sworn, and I confirm, To guard Your righteous right-rulings. I have been afflicted very much; O יהוה, revive me according to Your word. Please accept the voluntary offerings Of my mouth, O יהוה, And teach me Your right-rulings. My life is in my hand continually, And Your Torah I have not forgotten. The wrong have laid a snare for me, But I have not strayed from Your orders. Your witnesses are my inheritance forever, For they are the joy of my heart. I have inclined my heart to do Your laws Forever, to the end. I have hated doubting thoughts, But I have loved Your Torah. You are my hiding place and my shield; I have waited for Your word. Turn away from me, you evil-doers, For I observe the commands of my Elohim! Support me according to Your word, That I might live; And put me not to shame Because of my expectation. Sustain me, that I might be saved, And always look to Your laws. You have made light of all those Who stray from Your laws, For falsehood is their deceit. You have made to cease All the wrong of the earth, like dross; Therefore I have loved Your witnesses. My flesh has trembled for fear of You, And I am in awe of Your right-rulings. I have done right-ruling and righteousness; Leave me not to my oppressors. Guarantee Your servant’s well-being; Let not the proud oppress me. My eyes have pined away for Your deliverance, And for the word of Your righteousness. Do with Your servant according to Your kindness, And teach me Your laws. I am Your servant – make me understand, That I might know Your witnesses. It is time for יהוה to act! For they have broken Your Torah. Therefore I have loved Your commands More than gold, even fine gold! Therefore all Your orders I count as right; I have hated every false way. Your witnesses are wonders; So my being observes them. The opening up of Your words gives light, Giving understanding to the simple. I have opened my mouth and panted, For I have longed for Your commands. Turn to me and show me favour, According to Your right-ruling, toward those who love Your Name. Establish my footsteps by Your word, And let no wickedness have rule over me. Redeem me from the oppression of man, That I might guard Your orders. Make Your face shine upon Your servant, And teach me Your laws. Streams of water have run down from my eyes, Because they did not guard Your Torah. Righteous are You, O יהוה, And Your right-rulings are straight. You have commanded Your witnesses In righteousness and truth, exceedingly. My ardour has consumed me, For my adversaries have forgotten Your words. Your word is tried, exceedingly; And Your servant has loved it. I am small and despised; I have not forgotten Your orders. Your righteousness is righteousness forever, And Your Torah is truth. Distress and anguish have found me; Your commands are my delight. The righteousness of Your witnesses is forever; Make me understand, that I might live. I have called with all my heart; Answer me, O יהוה! I observe Your laws. I have called upon You; Save me, that I might guard Your witnesses. I rise before dawn, and cry for help; I have waited for Your word. My eyes have gone before the night watches, To study Your word. Hear my voice according to Your kindness; O יהוה, revive me according to Your right-ruling. Those who pursue mischief have drawn near; They have been far from Your Torah. You are near, O יהוה, And all Your commands are truth. Of old I have known Your witnesses, That You have founded them forever. See my affliction and deliver me, For I have not forgotten Your Torah. Plead my cause and redeem me; Revive me according to Your word. Deliverance is far from the wrong ones, For they have not sought Your laws. Your compassions are many, O יהוה; Revive me according to Your right-rulings. My persecutors and adversaries are many; I have not turned aside from Your witnesses. I saw traitors and was grieved, Because they did not guard Your word. See how I have loved Your orders, יהוה, revive me according to Your kindness. The sum of Your word is truth, And all Your righteous right-rulings are forever. Rulers have persecuted me without a cause, But at Your word my heart stood in awe. I rejoice at Your word As one who finds great treasure. I have hated falsehood and loathe it, Your Torah I have loved. I have praised You seven times a day, Because of Your righteous right-rulings. Great peace have those loving Your Torah, And for them there is no stumbling-block. יהוה, I have waited for Your deliverance, And I have done Your commands. My being has guarded Your witnesses, And I love them exceedingly. I have guarded Your orders and Your witnesses, For all my ways are before You. My cry comes before You, O יהוה; Make me understand according to Your word. Let my prayer come before You; Deliver me according to Your word. My lips pour forth praise, For You teach me Your laws. My tongue sings of Your word, For all Your commands are righteousness. Your hand is a help to me, For I have chosen Your orders. I have longed for Your deliverance, O יהוה, And Your Torah is my delight. My being lives, and it praises You; And Your right-rulings help me. I have strayed like a lost sheep; Seek Your servant, For I have not forgotten Your commands. (Psalms 119:89-176 The Scriptures 1998+)

LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.

I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word. Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.
Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O LORD, quicken me according to thy judgment.
They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law. Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.
Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
RESH. Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law. Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.

Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness.

And the word of יהוה came to Zeḵaryah, saying, “Thus said יהוה of hosts, ‘Execute true right-ruling, show kindness and compassion everyone to his brother. “Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the stranger or the poor. And do not plot evil in your hearts against one another.’ “But they refused to listen, and they shrugged their shoulders, and stopped their ears from hearing. “And they made their hearts like flint against hearing the Torah, and the words, which יהוה of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets. Therefore great wrath came from יהוה of hosts. (Zechariah 7:8-12 The Scriptures 1998+)

And the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart. But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear. Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts. [Zechariah 7:8-12 The King James Version (Authorized)]

“Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete. "For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done. "Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens. (Matthew 5:17-19 The Scriptures 1998+)

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. [Matthew 5:17-19 The King James Version (Authorized)]

And He answering, said to them, “Did you not read that He who made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? (Matthew 19:4-5 The Scriptures 1998+)

And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? [Matthew 19:4-5 The King James Version (Authorized)]

And He said to them, “It has been written, ‘My House shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of robbers.’ ” (Matthew 21:13 The Scriptures 1998+)

And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. [Matthew 21:13 The King James Version (Authorized)]

And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of Elohim, command this stone to become bread.” But יהושע answered him, saying, “It has been written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of Elohim.'" And the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the reigns of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I shall give You, and their esteem, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. "If, then, You worship before me, all shall be Yours.” And יהושע answering him, said, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it has been written, ‘You shall worship יהוה your Elohim, and Him only you shall serve.’ ” And he brought Him to Yerushalayim, set Him on the edge of the Set-apart Place, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of Elohim, throw Yourself down from here, for it has been written, ‘He shall command His messengers concerning You, to guard over You,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear You up, lest You dash Your foot against a stone.’ ” And יהושע answering, said to him, “It has been said, ‘You shall not try יהוה your Elohim.’ ” (Luke 4:3-12 The Scriptures 1998+)

And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. [Luke 4:3-12 The King James Version (Authorized)]

The Yehuḏim answered Him, saying, “We do not stone You for a good work, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself Elohim.” יהושע answered them, “Is it not written in your own Torah, ‘I said, “You are elohim” ’? “If He called them elohim, to whom the word of Elohim came – and it is impossible for the Scripture to be broken – do you say of Him whom the Father set apart and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of Elohim’? (John 10:33-36 The Scriptures 1998+)

The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? [John 10:33-36 The King James Version (Authorized)]

And because of this we thank Elohim without ceasing, that when you received the Word of Elohim which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is truly, the Word of Elohim, which also works in you who believe. (1 Thessalonians 2:13 The Scriptures 1998+)

For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. [1 Thessalonians 2:13 The King James Version (Authorized)]

Because of this I, Sha’ul, am the prisoner of יהושע Messiah on behalf of you gentiles – if indeed you have heard of the administration of the favour of Elohim that was given to me for you, that by revelation was made known to me the secret, as I wrote before briefly. In reading this, then, you are able to understand my insight into the secret of Messiah, which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His set-apart emissaries and prophets: The gentiles to be co-heirs, united in the same body, and partakers together in the promise in Messiah through the Good News, of which I became a servant according to the gift of the favour of Elohim given to me, according to the working of His power. To me, the very least of all the set-apart ones, this favour was given, to bring the Good News of the unsearchable riches of Messiah among the gentiles, and to make all see how this secret is administered, which for ages past has been hidden in Elohim who created all through יהושע Messiah, so that now, through the assembly, the many-sided wisdom of Elohim might be known to the principalities and authorities in the heavenlies, according to the everlasting purpose which He made in Messiah יהושע our Master, in whom we have boldness and access, with reliance, through belief in Him. (Ephesians 3:1-12 The Scriptures 1998+)

For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. [Ephesians 3:1-12 The King James Version (Authorized)]

And indeed, all those wishing to live reverently in Messiah יהושע, shall be persecuted. But evil men and impostors shall go on to the worse, leading astray and being led astray. But you, stay in what you have learned and trusted, having known from whom you have learned, and that from a babe you have known the Set-apart Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for deliverance through belief in Messiah יהושע. All Scripture is breathed by Elohim and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for setting straight, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of Elohim might be fitted, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:12-17 The Scriptures 1998+)

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. [2 Timothy 3:12-17 The King James Version (Authorized)]

And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, pass the time of your sojourning in fear, knowing that you were redeemed from your futile way of life inherited from your fathers, not with what is corruptible, silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for your sakes, who through Him believe in Elohim who raised Him from the dead and gave Him esteem, so that your belief and expectation are in Elohim. Now that you have cleansed your lives in obeying the truth through the Spirit to unfeigned brotherly love, love one another fervently with a clean heart, having been born again – not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible – through the living Word of Elohim, which remains forever, because “All flesh is as grass, and all the esteem of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the Word of Elohim remains forever." And this is the Word, announced as Good News to you.
(1 Peter 1:17-25 The Scriptures 1998+)

And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. [1 Peter 1:17-25 The King James Version (Authorized)]

And we have the prophetic word made more certain, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture came to be of one’s own interpretation, for prophecy never came by the desire of man, but men of Elohim spoke, being moved by the Set-apart Spirit. (2 Peter 1:19-21 The Scriptures 1998+)

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. [2 Peter 1:19-21 The King James Version (Authorized)]
