Greetings All, In the last newsletter I asked all our
readers to switch their party affiliation to
Libertarian on February 5. I stated that I would like
to be the first in Linn County to register as a
Libertarian. Let me tell you why I changed my mind.

After this caucus mess dies down I'm going to contact
my local newspaper and let them know that I am going
to register as a Libertarian. I'm going to mail them
the form, tell them the date that I'm going to do it,
and where. I may still be first but I'm willing to
give some others a week head start to pull this stunt.

This would not have been a news worthy story earlier
in the week but after the caucuses ought to be.

An even better story (from the LIA point of view)
would be to write about one of you doing the same
thing since the newsletter should never be about Kevin
Litten LP superstar but instead the actions of the
party members. A picture of the (possibly) first peson
to register in Iowa would be outstanding. It will
probably make it into the LP NEWS. Several pictures
would be even better.
