Sorry I havent been active on this myspace, I usually write on the one with the Spider Man stuff on it. I am thinking of Chris a lot this season and remember the last Christmas we spent together. I guess it would have been 2 Christmas's ago. We went to Home Depot the week of Christmas to buy or Christmas Tree's. Chris was elated to find that even the tallest tree only cost $10.00. We got two, one for his place and one for mine, but on the way out, he couldnt help himself and begged the salesman to give him another for free. So that Christmas, Chris ended up with two 8 foot trees. He put on up in his house and the other spent the rest of the holiday season naked in his front yard. You probably had to be there to get this story, but if you could only have seen his face when he brought home 2 trees for 10 bucks. You would have thought Santa delivered them to a 5 year old little boy. I loved how Chris could be such a great man, but have the spirit, energy of a Child at Christmas time! Miss you Stupid Head! Merry Christmas. Love Em

Last Christmas was so special. It was our first one back in Orlando since our boys were born. Fran called and said that Chris and Sam had been out Christmas shopping, and Chris had gone nuts. He said it would be the last year he'd be able to do it and he wanted to (meaning that he'd be back living on his own with more billls this year). He had bought really nice Christmas presents for my kids. He got a Diego inflatable ball drop for my crazyboys and a Trading Spaces Dollhouse for Bregan (plus a make up case). They came over Christmas morning, and gave the presents to my kids. It was so sweet.
The dollhouse looked so complicated to put together, and I wondered if my feeble brain would be able. :-) But, over the next few days, I got motivated, and got it all assembled, and Bregan and I decorated it. Just the coolest thing ever, with real lighting lights and everything.
Chris came over to get Tim and I to go out for Fran's 50th birthday downtown. When he came in, he asked right away for Bregan to show him her dollhouse, and they went in her bedroom and checked it out-real lights and all. I know he was really really chuffed (proud) that he'd gotten it for her.
We rode downtown with him that night--the first time we'd ever been in his truck to go anywhere (we had almost always lived away, Tim and Chris both having been in the Navy), and it was so so nice. We all just chatted and hung out the whole way. Every time I see that truck, I picture sitting there listening to music and chatting as we drove down I-4 that night.
We just moved into our new house last week, and I put Bregan's dollhouse back in her room. It means more than I can ever say.
Sorrowfully,
Becky
