Myspace.com has a lot of nice, convenient features but easy communicating with group members and setting up meetings and events are NOT among them. The LVSS Meetup.com group has other features but, in practice, it is likewise not ideal for this group.
I have decided to move this group to Facebook.com since it has (1) a large member base (2) the best features of both Myspace and Meetup (3) better structure/organization.
I urge you to join the LVSS Facebook group if you are (1) interested in songwriting collaboration musically, lyrically, or vocally (2) willing to participate online and at future meetings (3) have ideas or expertise you can share with others about singing, lyric writing, performance, music tips, music business tips, etc. (4) prefer an active group to a passive one.
Some of the members of this Myspace LVSS group are likely just joining as a form of passive advertising. If so, you may not find the Facebook LVSS group very useful. Facebook is much more strict about mass postings (to reduce spam, etc.)
