The idea of social networking is not new. Social networking is the simple act of expanding the number of people you know by meeting your friends' friends, their friends' friends and their friends' friends' friends. MySpace isn't the first nor the last Web site to take the concept online. So why does MySpace have more than twice the traffic of Google within four years of its 2003 launch? That is the reason why we are leading our students at ICC in this activity because we are here to find out. We are here to use MySpace as our social laboratory so our students could understand and experience Web 2.0.
