I agree, 300 is pretty incredible on Blu-ray and surround sound.

Speedracer (the movie) looks GREAT (good demo disk)! Got 5 stars out of 5 stars for picture HD quality at High Def Digest.

I have seen quite a few blu-ray discs but Planet Earth is just absolutely stunning!

Baraka is simply the greatest film you will ever watch on Blu-Ray. The original 70mm camera negative was scanned at 8k (a process that took more than 2 weeks total... just for the scanning). It is simply state-of-the-art, and you wont even find The Dark Knight in that quality. Go out and buy BARAKA!!!

any animated movie will look great

as far as surround sound
i-robot, I think its chapter 18 its the scene in the tunnel when they attack his car
iron man, the scene where he blows up the weapons depot and the whole jet scene
