I have figured out thet the people at BFS went screw crazy on the guns
I makes it difficult to do repairs in a reasonable ammount of time

Does any body have any comments about the basement layout?
Whether it is good or bad?

You might be able to get some quick-release bolts or something to replace some of the screws. Don't ask me how, where, or what exactly you'd need, but I'm sure there's something out there that might make it easier. I don't hang out in the hardware stores though :-P

I'll let you know on the basement once I see it... it's been a while for me, too long. Way too long.

Someone was saying a few fog machines strategically placed during games would make it interesting. Especially in those upstairs halls, it'd add a nice effect. Of course those could be expensive/messy to run, idk.

Fog machines + laser tag = disaster

The haunted house did not run them this year on our behalf, mostly because, even though there is no water associated with all machines, they still make the floors slippery and hard to run on
Last year we had to go around and plug all the possible inlets of fog from the basement, it was not nice

But I always thought it would be cool too, that and some strobe lights and sound effects

Ahhhh.

...so we have noobs crashing and burning into walls and barriers... wouldn't that just make it comedy on top of combat? Kinda like Bad Boys or something... Just kidding.

Yeah I can see where that's be a problem. Oh well.

The strobes is a nice idea, actually Cam and I were talking last saturday when we both stumbled upon the sole red lightbulb in the basement.

Wouldn't it be cool to have a lot more red light bulbs? Get some of them flashing steadily or something, it'd seem like an alarm was going off idk. Might be a little dangerous, but so is having random people run around with full metal weapons...

Yeah
I on't think the stobe light thing will work
I remember going to events (Spring Hill, Concert, ect) where they used strobes
I also remeber the feeling of almost stepping of the bleachers
And the haunted house, I ran into walls because of them

Now a strobe with a bright normal light near by would work
It would give off enough light to avoid problems
Now we just have to figure out how to do that

Yeah strobes could get dangerous. Like I said though, I still like the idea of painting lightbulbs red, or getting red lightbulbs or whatever. It'd add a nice effect to the basement. I'm gonna have to come and play again soon, it's been too long...
