"I am honored by all of the filmmakers who worked so hard to make a
short film. I am overwhelmed by the passion and dedication that came
through. It is always a pleasure to see so much talent in the up and
coming generation of filmmakers."

Thank you Mr.Woo I was hoping you would see the effort we put into combining the Spaghetti Western with a new age theme. I surely hoped you got a chance to view all of the entries and none of us was left out in the cold. We also tried to show how much we appreciated the stylings of Sergio Leone just as you do. I am pretty sure this message won't be seen by you. However I still wanted to let everyone else know that this was a great experience and we thank you for getting our lazy buts to work on something so challenging. So thank you again and God Bless you and your family.

Yeah sure, and how about the filmmakers who worked hard and can't compete 'cause myspace screwed us?

That's why he said to all the filmmakers who made a short film. He didn't say to all the filmmakers who competed.

We are all honored by the opportunity that you've made possible to all of us young filmmakers! I only wish all mainstream directors were as humble as you John Woo. You and others like you are the reason I do what I do, and I can't thank you enough for it!

Bless your soul!

I appreciate the opportunity Mr. Woo. I feel this contest has given me my best short film to date and for that I am thankful for that.

Thank you for making this possible for us young filmmakers.

Thanks! I believe this contest really motivated many of us to just pick up a camera and capture our action imagination. In fact, the contest actually inspired my brother and I into making our film (our first live action film actually). We had both grown up watching Hong Kong movies..especially John Woo. It inspired us so much, we decided to travel all the way to Shanghai, China to maintain an authentic Chinese feeling! Whether it was made for the purpose of winning or for fun, my brother..me..EVERYONE who had submitted a film put all their passion and effort into their entries. Everyone here loved Woo's films..i'm sure Woo loved everyone's too.

Through this contest, I've gotten the motivation to simply get off my ass and start doing something again. I used to work on a bunch of shorts, then stopped for about a year. And for that, thank you.

Thank you Mr. Woo.
Wish you could've seen mine. My goal was to film it the way the essence of your storylines sends messages of honor and payback and that love can exist regardless if death becomes your destiny.
Good luck in your judging and production of your video games.
