Morro Bay's annual celebration of the seafood industry, Harbor Fest, will take place this year on saturday and sunday, Oct 6 and 7. The Festival pays non profit groups to volunteer their members to do various tasks that weekend. There is great music, lots of vendors selling everything from fresh smoked albacore to bonsai plants etc and the weather is great! SLO NOW has for years helped out by selling the scrip fairgoers need to buy beer, as our major fundraiser. It is lots of fun, and you get into the festival for free if you are a volunteer.
