all you guys talk about is how funny the boondocks is and how you cant wait for the second season to come out. shit me too but the show goes a lil deeper than that. aaron mcgruder reveals society for what it really is. why dont you guys have a intelligent blog about that.

he does have a point, I enjoy watching the show because it is, in fact, incredibly funny. But, it also does go deeper than people think. But yes: word, that's some deep shit.

Aaron's done what very intelligent people do and that's use levity to expose society. The show's satirical, and topical but it uses humor as the tool. Your right right that it's deep, but you can reach more people with a laugh then a poignant speech. That's why the show's brilliant.

The show to me is more than hilarious...its peer comical genius with real political and social views..the show describes how fucked up and racially motivated society is and exposes how life can change in the drop of a dime. not only does it cross boundaries and shows freedom of speech, it allows you to think and ponder what is happening in front of us and how blind we are to the bullshit that people get away with . hows that for some "deep shit"

I dont think it needs to be said that it reflects society. I mean isn't that what makes it funny? If the show, or the comic, needed someone to esoterically state its take on society it would lose all humor.

I agree, it doesn't need to be said that the show reveals the irony in modern society. We can all also agree that McGruder is a satirical genius. Enough said, besides..some deep shit...
