How many Robert R. McCammon books have you read? Can you remember in what order?

I just found Robert McCammon this year, so I'm a little behind when it comes to reading his books, but I have read:
1. Swan Song (LOVED IT--better than King's The Stand!!!)
2. Boy's Life
I'm about to start Speaks The Nightbird (which for me is in the form of 2 paperbacks...I'm not happy about having to buy two books but with a third part to the story coming out I've just convinced myself it's a trilogy). I'm excited about Speaks the Nightbird, it sounds great.

I read both of them but I personally think his earlier works were MUCH better. Go to your local used bookstore and pick some of them up you will be hooked for life. lol

I do remember the first one I read. It was "Wolf's Hour" in 1988 or 1989. I was in college and had never heard of him before. I just ran across the book in the campus bookstore and it looked interesting. I bought it and read it straight through. Then I began hunting everything else. I read everything available then waited on "Boy's Life" in 1990. Now, just waiting on "Queen of Bedlam."

I have read "Wolf's Hour so many times that I have gone through 3 copies of the paperback. "Blue World" is another one that has fallen apart on me more than once. "Baal" was the first book I read back in 1978 and I was hooked from the start. Believe it or not my Mom loaned it to me (never gave it back of course).

New to the group, so I'll make this part of my opening "Hello to everyone" also thing.
1. The Wolf's Hour - Last Winter, First book ever read by Robert McCammon, immediately was hooked wanted to read more by him.
2. They Thirst
3. Boy's Life
4. Speaks The Nightbird vol. 1&2 in paperback
5. Bethany's Sin
6. Swan Song
So far those are the books I've read and I loved all of them, Bethany's Sin to me was the only one that I didn't consider one of his greater novels. But I still liked it. I still have plenty more that I want to read by him, including Queen of Bedlam.

I believe Bethany's Sin was my first RM book in 79 or there abouts. I'm sure I bought it because of the horse on the front cover. *grin* AFter that, I don't remember, except that I started to snap them up whenever I came across them.
I do remember the day that I found Swan Song. It was in a pile of books that had had their covers torn off to be returned for credit. Unsurprisingly, that copy is long gone, read to tatters and repurchased several times.
The same with Wolf's Hour. I've been known to give one or both of those to friends to read. If they like them, I tell them to keep them. Only return if you don't.
Funny. I've never gotten either of those back. *lol*

The first McCammon book I came across was SWAN SONG. I read it in high school. I have re-read the book several times. I picked up everyone one of is books and read them all. They Thirst was one of my favorites until I read Boys Life and Gone South. Blue World is amazing!! I can't say which is my favorite because they are all amazing. I have a copy of Speaks the Nightbird but I haven't read it yet. School is keeping me busy and I barely have time to read (other than text books).
