Why are you committed to fighting colorectal cancer? Who inspires you to get involved?

Best of luck to your dad, Greanbean. And for you and your family. I know it must be hard.

My mother has been fighting colon cancer since February 2005. She has had colon surgery and two liver surgeries--with chemo in between and is due for scans next week to see if the latest chemo has shrunk the latest liver tumor enough for surgery. She has had a tough time with chemo--and these surgeries are tough on a woman in her 70's, but she is still determined to continue treatment as long as she can! She is pretty amazing! mmm

We lost one of my mom's best friends, Bella R, to this dreadful disease two years ago. Her son Bill, one of my oldest friends, is currently in remission... and I'd like to keep him that way.
