how did you get the caddy 500 to bolt up to the c6 and what did you do to get the 9'' under there? sounds like the absolute polar oposite of anything within reason but i bet she hauls ass!!

heres a couple from my colection...
'72 buick skylark. used to have stock 350, now has a 455. the paint on the car is old and cheap so its all chipped up front. maybe this summer it will be painted gloss black.
old motor (buick 350) notice the air cleaner lid is turned upside down for a lil extra airflow. i was only 19 at the time and dirt poor. this is all stock also, since then ive cleaned and painted most of the engine bay.
my buick 455. all stock for now, cant afford any addons. being a grownup SUCKS!!
'65 buick lesabre 400. the 400 is an optional switch pitch th400, also sports an optional 300cid v8 sporting 10:1 compression, 290hp/355ft lbs torque
this is the motor. this pic was taken when we first got the car. since then ive degreased it all and cleaned it up A LOT! you couldnt believe how good it looks under all that grime! we're probably gonna get some chrome to dress it up this summer
'31 ford tudor (rat rod project) i can talk for days about this baby. shes slowly coming together. ive got the front suspension and 2 stock white wheels for her. ive got the option of a ford 289, 460, chevy 350 or a mopar 360...i just dont know what to go with yet
one of my '73 chevy trucks. this was my grandpas truck. he died when i was 4 and is one of the only memories i have of him. so, after being passed through the family and beaten into the ground. im gonna rebuild it in memory of him. ive got 3 of these trucks that will melt together to become 1. this was the day i brought it home. i had to buy it for $500 from my crackhead aunt but it came with 2 running 350's, a new th400 and rebuilt manual 3 spd
last stop on our trip...our shop. this is the home of my car club, The MainStreet Hooligans. inside we have 2 lifts a compressor, a furnace (heater) and enough room to work on 4-5 cars at once. hopefully it will sport a paintbooth/body shop on the smaller part *right side* and a regular shop on the left. only time will tell
and thats what we got!

The motor mounts were cut off, Caddy mounts welded in...not sure about the tranny bolt up(?)...and the 9" welded 2" blocks on top of the stock trailing arms.Urethane bushings all around, hardened U-joints, 3" exhaust(single for now....need to get headers then I'll put on dual exhaust).
Right now I just put on new OEM front fenders, grill surround and radiator support.
I still have all brand new seals, rocker panels to put in.I'm also waiting on some new headlight pieces(adjuster bolt assemblies)to get here from the Truck Shop out in Orange.
I'm also rebuilding the 4 sliding windows(pain in the ass).
I plan on dropping the thing another 2-4 inches.

I'm Steve and I got a '61 Chevy Apache 10. Just picked it up and will be blogging the progress (somewhat, I'm terrible at keeping up with shit like blogging). So far most things are in working order, need to work on the clutch and the brakes and get the passenger door to open, then she'll really be in good shape.
