Hi there! Please allow us to introduce ourselves; we are Jazz 88.3 FM and jazz88online.org in San Diego. The programming on Jazz 88.3 concentrates on blending new and upcoming artists with the great performers of the past who have given jazz its identity. Jazz 88.3 also features specialty programs that concentrate on various sub-genres of the music, like Dixieland, Latin Jazz, Swing, and Big Band. There are several programs that highlight the rich pool of local talent, and it is Jazz 88.3 that gives many great San Diego musicians their greatest exposure and the local audience information about live shows around town.

Jazz 88.3 hosts and broadcasts “Jazz Live,” our very own, live monthly concert. The concert is free for Jazz88 members. We have hosted jazz legends Joe Chambers, Bobby Hutcherson, David "Fathead" Newman, and Cedar Walton. We also feature the greats of today's jazz scene—Joey De Francesco, Bonerama and Benny Green.
