Has anyone here heard the new album? I think it's awesome! The whole album is Patti Smith covering bands like Nirvana, Allman Brothers, and The Rolling Stones! Check it out if you havent already!

Indeed. I absolutely loved it. It's not a masterpiece, but a great work of art. Changing of the Guards and Pastime Paradise are both fantastic.

I worship Patti forever, but for me this album is not good.

She's coming to Norway in June, but I have finals and can't go. I'll probably cry a tear on June 14.

I was also disappopintd with Twelve, it's a good album but, knowing how awesome Patti can be covering other peoples work, I expected more passion and energy, but Twelve seemed a bit to reverential and laid back (unlike her live performances of the same songs where the passion comes through).
