I know that most music fans are also musicians. Let us know what you "play with" in this section.

I have two strats and three tele's. They're all stock and play and sound great but my tele thinline is the one. Amps; fender tweed delux, blues junior, and in the living room next to my chair and my thinline is a fender G-DEC30 had it about a month (It's a good topic) If any one else owns one let me know what you think. I'm interested in all things musical.... Thanks for the invite Tara, this sounds like fun! I've been a fan of Albert for a while now. Great fresh blues with something to say, Haven't seen him live yet......

I record onto reel-to-reel blues songs, from old albums 550+, 78's, cassettes, 8-track, CD's, and personal appearances that I attend. Blues on Grand, Des Moines, Iowa city bars, Ames bars, Fort Dodge, etc.I also get songs from the internet and from other sites/pages. The problem I'm having is where to re-record some of this to CD, so I can bring the blues with me easier. Reel-to-reel holds 4 hours each side. Some recordings are not worth listening to, or have started to lose the sound quality and I want to update to CD before most are gone, and I have to try to re-record. I can put some to cassette, but thats also a temporary solution. I have an old mixer and a graffics equalizer that helps eliminate the pops/scratches in old albums, 78's.
I used to sit-in and jam years ago, (1967-72) mostly drums, but, won't do that anymore for fear of making a fool of myself (if you don't practice...you will lose it.)
Now I follow people who play, from the heart. I'm addicted to blues. If their song raises goose-bumps on my back and gives me a rush, they are admired, and I will follow them to wherever they go, trying to get some recorded, or buying their CD's.

You are welcome, Kenny. Glad you decided to join. I put together AC's tour schedule between AC's Website, Pollstar and Piedmont Artists and there is a date for Maine on April 21...Inn on the Blues.
