I was really hoping this would be a topic about her latest appearence on Trading Spouses...it wasn't as funny as the first :( Very disappointing :( Oh well....

Actually, the bible says that over indulgance and laziness is a sin. obesity is a self inflicted disease----i've been that way myself once. For a bible thumping christian like her, she should be taking care of her body as it is her temple.

... Being obese isn't a disease.
The problems that cause the compulsive eating like depression, that sure. But being lazy and over eating just because does not equal disease.

Anorexia is a disease as well as obesity, because the person is usually suffering from a psychological disorder. Look at margeritte perrin for example----an obsesive compulsive bible thumper. she shows very blunt symptoms of a person with deep inner issues----fear, guilt, wrath.......

yeah - obesity, alcoholism, anorexia. They are all diseases. Not like cancer or hemophelia, though, because it is, to an extent, that person's fault that they have that disease. I quote the late and great Mitch Hedberg when I say "Dammit Otto, your an alcoholic! or Dammit Otto, you have Lupis! One of these does not fit!"
