Princeton University recently rejected an Asian American applicant with a perfect SAT score. A study published by Princeton's own researchers concluded that an Asian-American applicant must score 50 points higher on the SAT than other applicants just to have the same chance of admission as the other applicants. Is Princeton discriminating against Asian American applicants?
Princeton refuses to release test scores and admission rates by ethnicity, saying the public has not asked for the information.
As a member of the public, I request that Princeton release average test scores and admission rates on its applicants by ethnic group (African American, Asian American, Hispanic, and White).
If Princeton refuses to do so, what is it trying to hide?

Are Asians the new Jews? And Jews the new racists...as Princeton is now run by Jews?
In the larger analysis, liberal cockblocking of Asians by Affirmative Action hurts this country as a whole by degrading our tech edge...thus causing all the outsourcing to Asia - where they are purer meritocracies.

Okay, kidding aside, I agree with this guy.
Let Princeton suffer! Wasn't Yahoo founded by an Asian American? Wasn't YouTube co-founded by an Asian American? Wasn't the new technology behind the iPhone created by an Asian American?

This student would not have been rejected at top public institutions such as Berkeley, Michigan or Virginia, and almost certainly would not have been rejected at elite tech schools like MIT or Cal Tech. Elite private schools always have some wonk factor in their admissions. They're private, hence they make their own rules, and legacy standing plays a big part in their decisions. The bigger issue is the perception of Princeton and Ivy League schools in general. Frankly, this student is better off at Berkeley or MIT than Princeton. I wouldn't even bother fighting with Princeton - let them make their own mistakes, while the truly elite, meritocratic schools prosper.

Isn't this "asians must score higher to get into the school" the same as "we have to give blacks and hispanics jobs even though they're slightly less qualified but we still have to because of their minority status." Aren't asians minorities? Often times i feel like people see asians as the other white.
And i've learned that girls love douchebags.
