The short story-like thing entitled "Sedendo et Quiescendo" is probably the best thing I've read all year, and I've never seen it published elsewhere. It is very different from the pared down and austere language of the novels, overflowing with bristling and innovative wordplay, and shows becket's affinities with Joyce clearly. I'd be interested to see what othe Beckett fans think of this piece.
