He makes all these movies and im wondering wat U GUYS THINK it is that makes them so great [WARNING! if ur not a tim burton fan then leave now!].

What makes Tim Burton so great is his ability to make fantasy something tangible. His movies create this imagery that evokes a connection with the viewer. It inspires one to get in touch with their own imagination and to enjoy the world that he's created with his. He also has a way of using darkness to reflect beauty in light. What I mean by that is, that even though his movies are on the darker side, the protagonists all display qualities of virtue. I am so impressed with how he makes darker things good, and not evil, like every other person tries to do. All of his movies are artistic, not just some crap story to get money. Whether the plot is really developed or a little lacking, his movies are all art.

i love the fact that they are dark but yet still has bright colors in them...and i like how the characters have alot of heart...(i hope you know what i mean)...tim burton kicks ass! im a mega fan!

his vision is just so different and original, and plus he's a very inspiring man

his ability to use different visualities. the making of something that we think as just a play toy ( clay ) and change it to something much, much more.

his songs and his movies duhh. i luv the nightmare before christmas sonds and i just luv sleepy hollow. the only movie that wasn't that great was the corpse bride and that was only because of the songs.

he makes a movie that everyone must see, if you watchit, you have to stay there the whole time. like he gives life into his movies..not only life but death too..buthe makes it ahook to everybody's interest...that's my opinion

Well Tim Burton is an auteaur so he has his own style running through his films. He has a brilliant imagination and I really envy him lol.
I think it's wicked how you can watch a film of his and automatically know it's him without looking at the credits. Also, because I do film studies at college I've noticed alot more and i think his work is particularly great because he uses cinematic codes to give atmosphere without the audience even noticing. Beetlejuice is really interesting for cinematic codes. I just love all his films and he's my idol. My ultimate goal is to work with him on a film (I aim to be a film director)

ive seen the movies, but it doesnt matter. people can like any movie they want and they dont have to be a fag like u and bitch about it. people mostly like corpse bride becuz tim burton's famous for Vicent and Nightmare before christmas which are his claymations. Next time dont be a fag on the Tim Burton site. U shouldn't even be a fan if you send something like that.

Anyway Terrence just because people are on the corpse bride group doesn't mean they don't like the non-anuimation ones. My favourite's Edward scissor hands....
Anyway he doesnt care more about fancy images than characters and plot because his characters and plot are well developed.... he just likes to give more to the audience aswell as just characters and plot.
