After conferring with my friends in the group here, these will be the guidelines for this topic. Review the song from the person in front of you and write your opinion of the song. If you are a listener only please do the same. If there are 2 or more listeners in a row please review the unsigned artist of your choice. If a musician comes up behind a listener please review the artist that the listener reviewed or the unsigned artist of your choice.

Lets have fun with this topic and hope it works

Happy Thanksgiving, Randy

Not a review. I just post to take this topic to the front page again. Isn't anyone interested in going on with the new rules to include listeners, or whoever wants to review but not reviewed?
I reviewed Randy before, and I especially love the new post dont take my freedom. This is not a review. If anyone interested going on with this post, please ignore me and lets start with a review on Randy.
Please ignore me and review Randy.

This is James Dalby of Foxxie Creations reporting for duty!

Reviewing Bilge Imamoglu's "Kizil". I see you've only just joined up with Myspace...

...

...

...Not bad! Based on personal preference I think I'll give it 5/10. Interesting structure. Think I like the track's tonality the best, if you know what I mean by that, but not entirely my style. Still a rather good attempt anyway which you should still be proud of.
BILL REALLY ROCKS!

Count me in as a LISTENER. Cuz I'm one of the few who don't care if I get reviewed or not, lol. I'm just in this for the fun! And I'm staying non-jaded to others' music. So I'm a "fan": l can still appreciate music. I've played in a lot of bands and solo over the years, so I've had the "fame" (just not the fortune lol).

a more detailed review of...
Randy Blossom: 'I love Your Jam"!
Well that about sums it up bro. You got the real deal going on. Super power rock tunes, rippin' guitar and vocals. You might just bring back the long lost 'guitar solo' to mainstream rock. Great work my man!

i don't need reviewing cuz i'm just jamming.

can someone review my new song "crank"
and my other song "black lotus"?

Black Lotus sounds like 3 or 4 songs playing at the same time.....but none are in time with each other. is that what you were going for? it's pretty hard to listen to.

I reviewed the song, The next level. This was very professional sounding dance hall electronica. This song would be excellent to dance to and reminded me of my single days. Good work and keep it up. Randy

Crank

If I have ever used the words "fucked up" in a positive manner, it would be to describe this song. Definitely a different kind of mix of sounds and rhythms, motif and all that. Really neat sounding though. 7

SLK's review of Crank by DJ Mental:

since it wasnt recieved in the previous post, lol

9/10

Honestly love it. I know how hard it isto program drums and stuff sometime, lol. And there is alot of great key's work going on. I only took of one point cause for me the whole Pulse drum beat can get redundant to me, but its not really a big issue. Great Job.

I'd like a review of It Would Love Me from anyone

I reviewed the song, It would love me. I really liked the guitar sound and playing in this one. This is a good song. However, I thought the vocals were pretty bad. Sorry. Good mix. Don't get discouraged about the vocals, I would suggest to get another singer. Try Craigs list. Randy

Crank

I think it should be clearer whether you are looking for changes progressing in continuity or for some collage type of work. One can criticize you for the parts' being not well connected to each other, but maybe thats what you re trying to and it's bad when intentional things seem like mistakes. In that case maybe they should be sharply contrasted. The music is not bad, thats not what i am saying, i dont know good enough about this type to judge it, but as a plain music lover, it seemed to me that it doesnot well communicate.

Hello my friend, I reviewed the song Serah. This song took me away into another world from the beggining fretless bass lines and dreamy guitar riffs. This song sounds like it could be used for a movie soundtrack. Nice guitar work. I think this is the best song I've heard of yours so far. Good work. Randy

I reviewed "Staring at the Sun" by Randy Blossom.

I know I've done a review for you before, but not of this song. First off, let me say that I really like just your overall sound. It's clean and clear, but not overly produced like a lot of modern rock. I like the throwback rock feel. The band sounds great together.

I really like the vocals a lot. At first I wasn't sure, because the timbre of your voice is higher and at first sounded almost a little whiney. But it really grew on me. A lot like Tom Petty I think, only a better singer than Tom.

I like the guitar sound and the riff, but I feel like the song sort of drags near the end. It's very repetitive, and the same intro riff and chorus things keep happening. Maybe you could change up the drums or do something as far as instrumentation to keep it moving, growing, not letting it get stagnant. I like the laid back feel of the song, but in order to keep my attention for the whole time I need a little boost near the end I think. Great sound man.

I reviewed the song overhaul. This is truly bedroom recording and bedroom rock. I got a Beatles vibe from this one. Very stripped down demo version of this song. I think the song has potential. I would like to hear it with drums and more complete. Randy
