I agree with you about marriage on paper, through Government agencies. The piece of paper is a load. The main reason my husband and I did it was to be able to take advantage of what there is available to married people in this world (which ain't much, but every little bit helps!) Not to mention, we learned that even if we'd been together 20 years (it's been 15 now!!), we would not be allowed to support each other in times of need - like hospital visits and silly things like that (not being "related" and all)!! But, in the bigger scheme of things, TRUE marriage is in the heart, and is validated by love - not the county clerk! :)

I DO hope that you feel comfortable enough to come out of your Internet shell and share with us what you know and feel! I GUARANTEE this is a safe place to do so!

Hello, Hello and thanks for the invite...I am always looking for more positive beings in my life...My Real name is Maria but I go by Carmen because that is the name that my family has known be as and I have realized that I want everyone I meet to become a part of my family...I am into all sorts of things as long as it involves positivity, enlightenment, good times, good memories, good people, good music, open-mindedness, open-heartedness and most importantly LOVE...I truly believe that LOVE could really heal this world if everyone could just reach way deep down inside themselves and find it because it is most definately there, I recently found it within myself and am working towards strengthening my connection with the universe and especially our Devine Creator which I realize is also inside of me although I have found that in my new journey My mind seems a bit freaked out by all the changes...

Sounds like we have a lot in common! I, too, believe I have an indigo child (though she's not sure SHE thinks so!). I also study all the time. I cannot get enough it seems!

I think a lot of us are still in search of what our life's purpose may be about. I know I am! I'm trying to remind myself all the time that it may not appear in the form I think it should! I always thought I'd write at least one great book in my life (then I had kids! hahaha), but that has yet to materialize (I keep the dream available, just in case!). Now I'm realizing that perhaps in the energy of the New Age, our purposes may be far different than they might have been in the older energy system. Remember to be open to ALL possibilities!!

In the meantime, sharing is a purpose. I hope I can provide for you a forum in which to do so!

I'm Katie. I love cats, hamsters, and hermit crabs, and my one year old son.

I used to travel the country by myself and had to stop when I got pregnant. Now my life has stability which is often boring, but nessesary. I refuse to lose my identity as a person because I have become a mother, but still spend most of my time at home raising my son because that is what is best for him right now. I'm going to try and get back to college next semester and start a criminology program so I can work with people who have already been in trouble rather than be a cop who gets people into trouble. I could never be an animal cop because I would be arrested for police brutality.

WOW. I used to dream of the vagabond life. Still do sometimes. HEY! My kids are 16 & 19 - I guess I could just go and DO it NOW! hahaha (Yeah, right. I settled into my domesticity a LONG time ago... but my husband talks about getting a motorhome in our retirement and leaving no forwarding address from time to time... :) ). DON'T let motherhood rob you of YOU! It sometimes FEELS like it is, and it can really be overwhelming from time to time, but if you just remember to reconnect with yourself - my thing is taking long, hot baths with a book or being in my yard with all the plants that need tending -- or better yet, a NAP! (a real powerhouse here, I tell ya!), you'll be fine. Find the thing that reminds you of YOU, and remember to revisit it on a regular basis. DAILY, if necessary. :)

Noble ambitions! I wish you well in achieving them. We need more people like you (and less people like THEM, if you know what I mean ;) ) to help those in need in our society. Oh, gosh. Better not go off on society and government and politics and all THAT stuff! I'll have to start a new group! (Or at least a new thread... and we CAN if you want!)

Hi my name is Brandon i am one of the few of any enlightened people in my area, well if there are more they are not very open about it. I practice many types of meditation. Astral meditation is my main right now. I beleive in "the thought of God" but follow no religion i have a tendence to ramble, most of my posts will be very long and some will be hard to follow because i tend to jump from subject to subject. I had a brother in light but he moved away so when i get a chance to talk or chat with any one about anything out of the norm. i will talk for hours i have many being around me at all times, i think that they help me will some of my knowledge.

I died once i think that may be a reason that i am conected a little more than the average person. I do have vivid memories of what happened after i die i will not tell anyone about it unless i think that they are ready for that knowledge if any one wants to know u can ask me and i will tell u a little of what happen's but its not my place to tell u what its like. sorry

I have been meditating for about 4 years and have stayed mainly around plains of higher vibrations but know im woundering what its like on lower plains (demonic) for anyone that wounders why i would want to experience that, just because a plain is on the demonic level does not mean that its evil. trust me on this one.

You sound like a really interesting person with some amazing experiences to share about! I can understand your reluctance to just TELL people about your death experience, since many people are just NOT READY for that sort of information! But I hope perhaps we could start a thread about your impressions and lessons from that experience! I know there are a lot of people out there with interest in the subject, and many who have had the same sorts of experiences.

It's unfortunate you don't have much of a network around your area. But thank the Powers-That-Be that there's a place like MySpace, huh? This way, you're always surrounded by support and love. Remember that. I won't guarantee that we'll always have all the answers in here if you ever "get stuck" or have any other difficulties, but by the looks of those who are gathering here, I'm gonna bet that this will be a good resource to check out in times of need! I feel a lot of good energy building in here!

Intriguing, your desire to explore "lower levels" of consciousness and creation. I admit to having no such desires for myself, but perhaps that's because I'm not yet ready for those sorts of lessons in confrontation and experience! ;) Please feel free to share what you're learning on your journey, if you feel that is appropriate.
