do you like being homeschooled?

do you like homeschooling cuz your parents somtimesgive you a little extra time to study on somthing you fell behind in?

do you like being able to sleep in somtimes,go places that other people would have to cut school to go to because thier in school?

or...

do you hate it...do you hate homeschooling because your constanly getting comments from people about being homeschool...and that your sheltered...

do you hate constanly being asked...what do homeschoolers do anyway?...or if your even allowed to date!...?

i like it for the most part, for reasons mentioned above. but i think im going to go to public school for the rest of my high school years so i can get more involved in sports and stuff. also...it seems to be incredibly hard to find girls when your homeschooled lol. in public school your locked in different rooms with different girls for hours at a time. it almost encourages relationships lol

I love it cause:

1. I can work whenever and where ever I want.
2. I can pretty much take as much time as I want working on something.
3. I dont have to deal with the B.S. I had to when I was at a public school.

The only thing that I find annoying is when people say I must have no social life, which isnt true.

its totally awesome!!!!!!!!! for all the reasons above and many more. but most pple think its preaty cool when i tell them i am homeskooled. but it kinda ticks me off when pple think i would not ahve many friends. well truth is i dont have many close friends. but i have a ton of friends of pple that like me.

i have found that generally youth dont give me a problem bout bein homeskooled, but adults will really press me on it. sumtimes ask me questions no normal person would know. but i then answer them corect! it makes me feel great. and then pple stop buggin me bout it since i am found to be a better person then most pple in skool.

so for you guys is it that your parents make you homeschool? or is it more your decision?

for me it was both my parents and my decision. they ask me if i want to be homeskooled, and i say yes. although, i think i would have been homeskooled when i was lil no mater wut.

i like it. i get to shape my curriculum, my schedule, and expand my interests and thoughts more so then when i was in public school. it IS alot harder to get friends because youre not shut in with hundreds of people your age all day every day. people look at you differently or judge you when they know youre homeschooled which is really annoying cuz they shouldnt. i am always looking for ways to improve my school, social life and future. if anyone would like to share tips, suggestions or things that just 'worked for them' that would be really appreciated=]

I love it cause:

I can do my schoolwork in my pjs <3

I dont have to get up at 5 to get ready for school

extra study time?

eating in class LOL

My parents are involved in my life way more than public schooled kids parents are.

yes I LOVE BEING HOMESCHOOLED.

1. you get to use your freedom. (since we live in america)

2. since i dont handle pressure too well, i like to say it alters my brain waves.

3. get to study in depth subjects of interest longer

the list could go on and on....u's get the picture




troubles that come with being homeschooled:

1. yes its getting alittle old hearing the question "just what do you do all day?"
like i dont' do anything!

2. u find out who is really a coherent person, those who don't knkow how to talk to you cause your homeschooled (idk what it is, maybe they have nothing to associate me with?) or shun ya just beacause. well then youve found out they wouldnt of been a very good friend int he first place?

3. NO GUYS!! took drivers ed once in public school (ooh so fun the stares, the faces, the clicky chicks, the shunning. never the less it was sorta fun. best thing outa it, this guy asked me out just about two years later, seen him all over, but saw him in school - thing that defined him as a different person: didn't care what the general consensus is he just talked!!!!!!!! even though its over with.

4. yea i reallly really want to find some homeschoolers in my area to hang out with. but alas woe. have no luck yet. anybody want to start a soccer team? lol

5. get treated like ure diseased or somthing.

but hey ive decided my freedom is more inportant than socialism. and besides what in the world do people do when they graduate?! oh yea. i guess they become people and make friends THAT DON:T GO TO SCHOOL! how in the world do thay manage to do that!? when they sure as heck can't talk to me.? interesting.

LOVE IT. HATE IT. it has it's pros and cons. but in the end its worth it.
