If you've been in an RYT show or just watched an RYT show, what was your favorite?

For me, it's a tie between The Sound of Music and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

HSM was a fantastic show. Can't wait for HSM3! I don't think they will make HSM2 into a movie though. It's a bit difficult trying to put a swimming pool and a golf course on stage. LOL

Boy, I sure appreciate the kids that worked so hard on HSM. THANKS YA'LL!!! Special thanks to Robert Lopez (rockin' basketball choreography), Megan Park and Alison Ogilvie for helping to finished the project under a tight deadline. Awesome cheerleaders with THE moves. Ripping skater dudes. Creative thespians with so much drama. A larger than life Mr. Darbus and "the constantly angry" Coach Bolton...Hercules, Hercules, Hercules. Thanks for many laughs you too. And my favorite Troy and Gabriella to date...great chemisty and vocal blending...and I think I've seen 8 different productions of HSM this year!

I think Aida (2008) ranks as one of my most favorite RYT experiences, along with Joseph...Dreamcoat (2003), How 2 Succeed (2005), and Broadway Meets the Movies (2007).

I will say that Joe’s Coat was my best RYT show. But that is to cut the other short. I really loved my time as principal lighting designer for RYT. I hope to work with you all at some point in the future.
