HELLO!! Am I the only one in here? ;)


Yesterday I started breaking my resume lens into a resume of a resume of a resume lens. Of sorts. Instead of trying to cover all my activities in one lens, now it spotlights one activity in each module with a link to the OTHER lens that describes it in more detail.

This is one way to break up some of your HUGEMONGUS lenses into a more manageable structure. You can do this for business related lenses too! Just create a lens for each of your products and target markets. You could end up with a hundred lenses, but they will each be focused and SEO worthy.

Thanks for all you are doing with starting groups on Squidoo. I'm looking forward to it going public, soon.

I have a friend who keeps a lens that lists all the people she knows of who have accounts at Powerful Intentions who have lenses and she has to update it manually. A new group would make the process much easier, so we're looking forward to the groups feature release.

I'm a member of your Country Music Fans group. I have some ideas for new lenses, but don't have the time to build them this week.

Your Promote your CafePress Shop on MySpace on Squidoo lens was very helpful and I joined several groups here as a result of your links to them. I'm going to blog about that lens on several of my sites later today so more people will benefit from your advice. (I rated it a 5, added it to my favorites, linked to it from my Custom T-Shirts on Squidoo lens, and bookmarked it on del.icio.us. This is rare for me. I may rate a lens or bookmark it or blog about it, but I think that lens is the first time I've done all five.)

I'm looking forward to finding other ways to cross promote with you in the future.

Power Coupon Diva

Now that Groups are active on Squidoo, I have been inspired to start some new lenses.

For the Country Music Fans group, I just created a new Dolly Parton lens. Pigeon Forge is only a couple of hours from here and I've been a Dolly Parton fan for decades, so it seemed like a good lens to build.

For the Addicted to Squidoo group, I started a Marketing With Squidoo lens. I have some ideas for more content on that lens, but I've run out of time to work on it. I'm looking forward to adding to it as soon as I can.

I just created a new Site Build It Webmasters group on Squidoo. As long as your new lens is about SBI and/or your SBI website, I'll be happy to admit you to the group. (Site Build It! websites, only, please.) (I also created a new Site Build It Webmasters group on MySpace.)

I just made a lens about a really cool charity I just discovered and donated to because of their Squidoo Group!

The charity lets you lend some money to entrepreneurs in developing countries so they can start businesses. And then they work with the people so they can afford to pay you back out of their business income. COOL!

I made a lens about Filipe Marrengula, the guy I lent some money to. You can see exactly how his fund is coming along and find some links to the Squidoo Group for the charity at my lens about Filipe and Kiva - www.squidoo.com/mykiva

100% profits go to Kiva, and Filipe may be rescued by some cool Squidoo folks.

I created a new group, but no one has yet joined. I have to admit, I don't see that the Groups are really working out, but I am willing to give it more time.
