Does any one remember this lovely childhood memory of mine?

That carousel is going to be argued over its placement for the next decade. I don't get why, the coolest ride there was the little train thing, whatever it was called. That single seat, pump it yourself ride, anyone know what I'm talking about?

Where was nunely park?? I seriously have no clue as to where your talking about.... Maybe I was just a deprived child... Are we talking about that carosel in greenport?? JUst curious, since you mentioned carasoul, but I dont think I've heard of nunelys.. Although I probablly went there a few times when I was a kid, just may not know the name...

It was in Freeport. right on Sunrise Adams.....i mean highway he he!

Yeah that place was pretty cool when we were kids. It was like Coney Island for babies

no, the county bought it to protect the carousel. all of those horses were hand carved! the last i read in the paper was they they are thinking of putting in near all of the other museums near mitchel field.

It wasnt in freeport it was in Baldwin

I think the carousel went to the Children's Museum at Mitchel Field.
