Here's the cahnce topost which venues you think people should know about. They can be voted for a s good venue or bad venue.
But you must give a reason why you vote each venue.

It has to be said that Nicals in Bodmin has got to under one of the bad venues.
Not the place it's self, it's a case of being in a town that has a lack of transport for the public (time wise), also not many people come and show their support anymore. But most recently the venue has had some bad comments said about it to me, due to the PA System being shite, and not working (speakers/power).
I can only guess the reason for this is because bands & other people have been using and abusing it..turning it up full whack and screaming through the thing which is it not going to do it any favours.
Just because it's not yours there is no need to kick the shit out of it..
The venus should be charging for the use of it...£5 for normal pub gigs & £10 for practice bands to use.

Another bad venue is The Queens head in St.Stephen, St.austell. Play louder than a gnats fart and that's too loud. you've gotta play so the people at the bar can hear each other without having to raise their voices. (unless you are one of these crap cover bands).
