Do you prefer dramas from a certain country?
Why?

I once started out in the drama jungle, by watching a lot of Korean dramas. But in the long run I got a bit bored since most seemed to (to me) revolve around the classic "love triangle" (of course there is exeptions:-) So lately it's been mostly japanese, to me they have more variations, (friendship, family, love)

(I dare not to say anything about the Chinese or more specific, I've only seen the a few Taiwanese dramas made from Mangas)

What about you?

i love asian dramas regardless if it's jdrama, kdrama, twdrama.. it still depends on the story and actors.. each have their own charm.. ^_^

I have only seen two Korean dramas, and they both seemed to me like they followed the same formula. So I prefer Japanese dramas. Of course the main reason why I started watching them is because of my strong desire to be fluent in the language. Someday I might pick up Korean or something, so then I might just force myself to watch more Korean stuff... but for now I'd say definitely Japanese dramas. Especially since I subtitle them... >.>

yeah i'd agree with that too. but if i had to say it would be japanese dramas because it has a wider range the movies however are wierd but really good. then chinese, because the mangas they get them from are pretty awesome, i also like the movies too. then korean dramas, but the movies are awesome. this is off stuff i've seen though, from mainly silent regrets dot com, but there are some i have watched form d-addicts (i think thats the site.) but the actors also have a main role in it too... and the story also, definately.

I like Jdramas and Twdramas best. Maybe because I prefer the sound of the language or maybe I just haven't seen enough Kdramas yet Lol

I like j-dramas the most, The ones i have watched soo far were all interesting to me and have good storylines.

I can't really choose. :o All 3 countries have their own traits that make their drama different from each other. So... I like all of them! =D

k dramas are the best
t dramas next
then j dramas
but to be honest,
i haven’t watched as many j dramas as i have the others.
whats interesting is how many k and t dramas are remakes of japanese manga ^-^

I have watched more Japanese Dramas than anything else, but my favorites have to be Taiwanese. Most of the acting is over done, like most JD, and the stories are normally really cute. :D

Korean drama is awesome too, I’m a huge fan of Coffee Prince. =]]

when i was younger, my grandma would watch Chinese dramas.....
i really prefer Korean dramas now....i dont know for some reason, their language is easier on the ears....i’ve only been watching for about a year...and i’m picking up the language.
