based on these amateur artists ....that likes to posts "Check out my music" topics here.....

You're music either sounds like:

1. Ring tones
2. Video game tracks
3. Movie sound tracks

I wouldn't listen to it personally.......I would reccomended trying to market your music towards:

1. Phone companies
2. Video Game companies
3. Production film studios

best of luck.....

Should listen to some of these music I provide in this group....and hopefully ya'll may get an idea of why it is called euro"Dance".

yeah, but it gets to a point of where they just post simple beats!....like they spent 5 mins cranking it out.

....not even a song.....no bassline, no riffs, no melody, no synth, no rhythm nor layers.......Any music program should at least provide those things to make a decent song.

It's like what are these people listening to?.....not euro obviously...lol

I agree...most of the new tracks I've heard by some of the people here really do sound like ringtones or the backgrounds of shoddy game music. I've heard several that are nothing but the same beats continuously for 3 minutes without even a single different effect added in.

This discribes 95% of the so called artists that posted their "hot tracks" in the group topics this month. Save your joke music for the bulletins and only use these topics for disscussion of real music.

It's an old topic bro,

people were just flooding the group topics with tunes that sounded like "beep beep dee dee meep meep!".....and they keep coming back asking for feedback when they just can't seem to understand what it takes to make music.

Ok...the general rule of thumb to tell if you're music is ready is to honestly ask yourself 2 questions.

1. Would you spend money at a reasonable value for this?

and

2. Would others pay their money at a reasonable value for this?

-----------------------------------------------------

Albums is about what...$15-20 bucks...(more for import)
CDMs are usually around $5-10 bucks....

I don't make music so none of this concerns me, I buy what I like because I think it's good and worth the money and has a great replay value. (Or maybe it sucks but it was a bargain.)

my opinions only!

A reply to kill time while waitin for some1 to call me back...

From one side of the fence we've got all these artists goin around constantly promoting their own material. Which, as a fellow artist/producer I can understand (to a degree), because I would also like to get it out there, but there's a point in time when it becomes excessive (the massive promoting being committed mostly by newbs, for I too was guilty of this at first)

However, stemming from what was said about the material in general (about spending money on it & it's replay value) my philosophy there is- I won't post/release anything unless I'm fairly certain others will enjoy it. Prior to converting/uploading, I ask myself questions like...

*Does this sound like what's being played in the clubs?

*...On the radio/music video channels?

*Could I see others dancing to this?

*Could I see them wanting to share what they've heard to their friends?

*Could I see people bumpin/blarin this in their auto's when they're cruisin around?

(this one in particular is what drove me to wanna start makin my own music, among
other things)

*Etc.

This year alone I've produced a number of tracks, but you'll won't see me post any of those 'Hey, new music posted...' types of messages anymore. Sometimes I post a blog about it while the typical method for getting it out there is sending everyone on my friends list an event invite. Which is kinda like a message, but without needing to CCV as much (which to a degree could be considered spam). If I'm responding to a message or comment I might say something, but I'll also talk about other related stuff first. There's other stuff I do beyond the site, but that's neither here nor there at the moment.
