It's a CASINO designed to excite the senses! I remember the first time I ever walked into the Wynn Hotel I was awed by the beauty! The amazing artwork can take your breathe away. The wonder of the resort however is nothing compared to the heaven that awaits at the end of the hallway. The hustle and bustle of Vegas drifts away as you head towards the Wedding Chapel.

The Wynn can cater to your every desire for the perfect ceremony. My personal favorite is the Primrose garden. When you open the door it's like stepping into a tropical heaven, You become completely unaware that there are thousands of people just a few hundred feet away.

The Primrose Court is a private courtyard where, under a canopy of trees and surrounded by flowers and two whispering fountains, you can host a day or evening wedding celebration with seating for up to 100 guests. It is also available for pre-event cocktails, cake and champagne following the wedding or for an intimate after event cocktail party for up to 70 guests.

Rental of the Courtyard is at $1, 500 per hour (excluding food and/or beverages and rate is not included in any of the Wedding Ceremonies). Courtyard rental includes complementary banquet chairs with flowing white chair covers accented with tie backs. To ensure that your event remains flawless, one of our Wedding Salons will be provided as backup accommodation should inclement weather arise.

The Wynn has two elegant indoor chapels. We have created Wedding Salons that are elegant, distinctive and calming. Each has a private foyer where guests can gather before the ceremony begins, and a private Bridal Room for last minute primping.

Our most intimate setting, the Lilac Salon accommodates 65 guests comfortably, and is perfect for smaller ceremonies.

They carry a number of great designers and are quickly adding to their selection! Something Blue is a MUST for NEVADA brides!!!! It is a new salon located on Rainbow Blvd. In a newer area that is being developed rapidly. Something Blue is the perfect stop for you on your search for ... "the perfect day."

That means I kind of want to be patriotic...So, for retailer of the week I decided to go with a little RED, WHITE and BLUE!!!!

RED: We thought about giving you a floral vendor here and telling you about beautiful red roses... but we decided that every bride needed to be well "read" and wanted to tell you about some GREAT periodicals!


Your Wedding Day is an amazing publication if you are from the California area! It is well photographed, well edited, and overall a pleasure to read!

Also I think it is important as a bride to check out bridal blogs... READ what your friends are saying about vendors in your area! Technology has advanced us to the point that word of mouth has become word of type!!! Find out who they are saying is GOOD!!!!

WHITE: For white I choose the GOWN... Now days there is such a trend for splashes of color in your gown or to have the whole gown another color that I just wanted to quickly remind you there are "white" gowns still out there...Try Kelly Chase!

My retailer's of the week are "SOMETHING BLUE"...

There are a lot of salons, event coordinators across the nation who have adapted this name to their businesses, but this week I chose the top two Something Blue Salons.

Do you guys have any venors in the Reno area. The two that are Nevada in here are both in Las Vegas. I haven't had much luck finding ones in Reno. I live in California and we are planning on having the wedding in Reno in 2008.

Ask your photographer for the BEST wedding album. Ask for a PictoBook.
We do only work with professional photographers, so think twice before accepting just a DVD with your images (most good album companies are the same). Dont get stuck with an "el Cheapo" album!
