My retailer of the week is actually for next week, but I was out of town so I didn't post for this week. I have had my inbox flooded with emails and I have been trying to answer them slowly but surely. A lot of you have requested bridal salons in the southern california area / L.A. area... So, here it is:

Now as most of you know on my travels I visit bridal salons from every price range from low-end to very high-end. Ussually my featured salons are a little higher priced. This week however, is the affordable salon where lower price does not mean lower service. I was immediately greeted with a smile, and treated with great respect. The service is certainly 4 stars! The accomodations are not posh like some salons, you dont feel as though you have walked in to a queens palace but you certainly feel as though you are the queen, because of the way they service you! They salon has creative management and offer a number of great services. You can sit down and order your invitations there or have your little girls birthday party. No need to hire a wedding coordinator if you are shopping at Palos Verdes, they appear so knowledgable they could direct you to EVERY vendor you may need if they cant service you themselves.

Gown selection: They do not carry ANY of my favorites, but for the budget bride dont sacrifice service and quality and shop at David's! Just shop at a service oriented bridal shop that caters to the cost cautious bride! Although, I think Palos Verdes Bridal has the service quality to carry a number of haute couture lines their price point is under $3000.00

They have a great assortment of accessories. They also just picked up Aalexis. So, those of you who asked about guestbooks... Palos Verdes Bridal is your accessory stop!

RED: We thought about giving you a floral vendor here and telling you about beautiful red roses... but we decided that every bride needed to be well "read" and wanted to tell you about some GREAT periodicals!


Your Wedding Day is an amazing publication if you are from the California area! It is well photographed, well edited, and overall a pleasure to read!

Also I think it is important as a bride to check out bridal blogs... READ what your friends are saying about vendors in your area! Technology has advanced us to the point that word of mouth has become word of type!!! Find out who they are saying is GOOD!!!!

WHITE: For white I choose the GOWN... Now days there is such a trend for splashes of color in your gown or to have the whole gown another color that I just wanted to quickly remind you there are "white" gowns still out there...Try Kelly Chase!

There are a lot of salons, event coordinators across the nation who have adapted this name to their businesses, but this week I chose the top two Something Blue Salons.

So, I was reading on Wedding Whispers blogs one of the topics and some of the vendors were responding in a way that it helped me to get to know them better... Then I was thinking... This group page is really for vendors and we should ALL try to get to know each other a bit better. So, I decided to come back over and find my little section in the states and give a bit of a rundown on me... I would love it if some of you did the same!

My name is Lisa... I am in my well older than 40. I love mountain biking, tennis, swimming, etc... I worked at Levi's for over 20yrs. and stumbled into bridal on accident. I own perfectdetails.com which is an online retail company. We sell what most people would consider "couture" accessories. We have an extremely good selection and carry a lot of really GREAT designers. ALL of our products are a little higher end and tend to be for the more discriminatory bride. However, we do have items in ALL price ranges!

I would LOVE if all of you vendors stopped by my site! I also get a lot of referals from coordinators. Coordinators I totally do not mind you linking to our site.
