Rockefeller using the military against striking workers, America and the rest of the world has a long history of using terrorism/brutality against labor and the poor.

Terrorism: Causing suffering/death to civillians for socio-political reasons. This is what sanctions are, this is what poverty is.

All societies use death & suffering to manipulate their people. The current societal designs used everywhere promote preditorialism / warriorism / barbarism, this is the core meaning of global competition.

We live in a country / world today that says caring for the well off is free market democracy, while caring for the poor is socialist.

Honest capitalists will tell you that we use poverty to motivate/force people to move up the social ladder. Problem is, if you can't or don't, its a death sentence for many. The same Adam Smith free market devoties, will tell you (when they are being honest) that capitalism was never designed to "raise all boats" or guarantee a decent life for all.

So just how are people supposed to be personally responsible for thier own economic outcomes, in a system designed to fail so many?

Poverty is caused by policy, policies based on preditorialism not laziness or lack of morals/ethics. Right now people picking your food are starving. 25 percent of the homeless have jobs. In this country we feed criminals even give them medical care (sometimes), but the poor can starve, be turned away from truama centers (one out of every two homeless).

The Constitution say's to 'promote the general welfare", not specific economic classes, it say's "equal representation", not just for those with "market force'.

In the "Unwritten Social Contract",   all of us give up our individual soverinty to the state and its laws, and for doing so we are to be protected, not just by the military in war but also by policy at home.

The "Market"  does not come before our laws, democratic rights, human rights or the higher standards of a decent morality, ( remember, the capitalists will tell you that the market is suppossed to be "ammoral", what a self serving joke).

Instead the current so-called Free Market, is a predatorial unacountable if not a criminal economic system (based upon the darkest aspects of animalism as a socio-economic policy model) that is eroding mankind's recently-aquired evolutions of enlightenment, modern civility, individual rights and hopes of abundance for all.

As of now, in so-called free societies,  resistance to the free market and its economic/military colonialism is labeled terrorism. Truth is , you are 1,000 times more likely to do die from a policy of your own country than by a terrorist. Then again our country is run by terrorists so..........

What is being promoted is Militant Consumerism - this is where people are willing to kill and be killed in order to be able to buy things they don't even need or even want. Society has been / being designed to keep us all in survival mode, because the more scared and desperate we are, the more obedient we'll be.  While at the same time our children's childhoods are being sacrificed away in the name of "competition",  so that business's will have as large a pool as possible of educated-disposable-workers, this in order to drive down the workers worth (basic supply & demand manipulation).

Common people with common abilities are being replaced by so called specialized people with so called specialized abilities.

All this so .12 of the people can have 1/3 of  the worlds wealth.

And in the War for Wealth, the death of the poor are just acceptable collateral losses. We hate the poor because they represent the failure of our economic system, and in America we hate failure. Please remember the number one cause of death in America for the poor is no healthcare.Tens of thousands die every year, more poor have died in this country from lack of healthcare than all the wars america has fought in combined.

These numbers do not include :

US workers killed on the job    15-20 a day

       US suicides                            83-87 a day

US medical mistake deaths       2,000 a day

US auto accidents deaths         120 a day

And where are the so-called Pro-lifers on this issue, well before you are born you are a sacred life, and must be saved, after you are born you are disposible/exploitable product who's duty is to blindly serve the economic wims of others. And in a ironic twist, the same people that do not believe in genetic evolution, do believe in economic evolution (social darwinism). For in this rich socalled prolife and kind and good society, we evict and throw the poor, the sick and the elderly into the streets Where many die and end up in........

And if these hypocrasies are'nt enough the same authorities tell us we can't practice medicine on ourselves and don't teach it in school, and refuse the poor access to it. Half of the poor taken to trauma centers are being turned away. And if they do look at you, they tell you to come back weeks if not months later in hopes that you'll ether die or get well on your own. A large number of doctors do not take the hypocratic oath anymore.

The capitlalists say poor people have no right to their profits. I say then they should have no right to our labor.

In the 1800's poor people had land, farms and homes. Then came the industrialists who used every means possible to force people from thier lands. They lied to the agrarians/farmers/poor. They promised a better life, better jobs. We got Robber Barons, Slums, Street Bosses, Child Slavery, Jim crowism, economic servitude, industrial pollution and poisining, shot for striking or unionising, they even experiment on us without our consent.

Now the industrialist/capitalists are leaving our country to rot. Their moving our jobs and our resources to other countries that are easier to exploit, while importing workers thru h1b & h2b worker programs for the jobs that are here and at the same time controlling the economic system here for themselves. None of the local 7/11 corner markets next to me have hired an american / local in the last 10 years.

We are telling the world whats good for the well off/rich is good for the poor (Free Market Tricle Down Theory). This is a lie, most of what is earned is flowing up not down. For instance, social security which was created for the poor, is now collected by the well off.   The poor die at earlier ages ( no health care ) than the well off thus forfieting their social security to the well off who it was never intended for in the first place.

This is a covert conspiracy as dictated by Free Market Globalists/Elitists and a unconsious collusion of preditorialistic/animalistic propencities impowered by fear and indifference in us all.  This then is manifested thru policies designed by and for the most aggressive and greedy people of societies including those who blindly serve them. Not the caring nurturer types. These leaders and thier obediant servants then promote a overly simplistic, preditorial get tough, macho view of the world that serves the needs of their economic group predominatly. This has  genetic and societal design implications ( as found in Stanley Milgram's, Solomon Asch, Phil Zimbardo and Jane Elliots experiments ). In this case where one group (the rich) have power and control over another group (the poor). The group with the power/authority will always neglect,  exploit, abuse, torture even kill the indivdual or group they have power over.

This imbalance of power leads to policies of neglegent homicide against the unwanted, this is a crime. Free Market Globalization is forcing the old to compete against the young, the sick against the healthy, the poor against  the rich and ultimately the desperate of one country against the desperate of other countries for basic neccesities of survival and is immoral if not criminal...and completely uneeded.

Modern day Scab Labor

When people are willing to, or are forced to work too hard for too long for too little, quality of life is lowered for us all.

We must stop competing against one and another and start competing for each other, a pay it forward style economic model.

We must make all basic necessities Non-profit ( which still means 10 percent profit ). This includes food, clothing, homes not housing, basic medical and utillities. We need to eliminate market volitilaties. We need to stop "just in time manufacturing & hiring practicies", "planned obsolecence", "cost benefit analysies" that say its better to payoff a wrongfull death suit than fix the problem and any policy that allows "manufactured scarcity"that artificially over inflates worth, making much of what people need to live on unatainable. We must stop eminent domain laws that say those who have less are a blight. We must stop promoting the gentrification process.

The Stock Market should not be running domestic policy. The stock markets policy of a 20 percent increase in profits every year, forever is irrational and promotes corruption. The stock market should treat labor the same as investors.

People yell "thats protectionism", damn right we need it!

Human rights before property rights.

Our leaders are supposed to protect us from preditorial markets, not turn us over like lambs to the slaughter. But alas our leaders are created, supported  and protected by the markets.

got a theory...
capitalism, like any social strcture tend to implode by abusing of the people....

the marxist countries helped the western societies to keep healthy balance,

now in he absecen of the big bad communist scarecrow , the western societies have turned into a more extreme brand of capitalism.....

the one that keep the disadvantage on those that have already disadvantage.....

in Moscow, for instance , the retires openly say that they miss the soviet times, and that they were better off during the communists days....

how come?
becuase their monthly retirment pension of 75 U$ have them begging in the streets for money, next , but not in (becauase they're not allowed) the elegant clubs and restaurants inthe upscale districts in moscow where the new oil millionaries drive bentleys, aston martin, and so on.... i heard that on npr this morning.... i bet there is a summaty in the npr.org site...

ok.... i leave my point unfinished, , , sorry , at least you got the feeling of what it is about....

oh!...i don't wanna forget..... sweeden and germany and finnland, and norway are contries with a stronf social orientation but they arenot marxist... so a balance is achieveable....

the proganda we hear and see every day tries to make us believe that such balance isnot possibel and any concession to society is a 'communist' trait.... nothing can be more decieving than that......

for some reason , i guess, the same one that makes some people state what i just mention above, it is not discussed at all in america, the fact that tony blair was elected in britian as a result of the discontent of the citizens to the continuos dismantling of the welfare state by the tatchet and major administrations.... (social conservatives with liberal economic policies)

blair is more a social liberal with liberal economic policies, , , that combination is proven to be the most convenient...

ok....gotta go now!!!!

it's really late!!!!!!!!!!!
can't solve a problem? the sang man can!

ok so which country has people who don't take the advantage of their power and money? I thought every corrupt, rich, powerful in every country do they same shit and there is at least a few in every country even if that country is not a capitalist country. Example... North Korea. Communist country full of corrupted government. They have the money to build all sorts of military weapons but they don't have the money to feed their people. hmmmmm 3 million famine deaths in 4 years... thats lot of people dying from starvation, especially in a small country.

Indeed, and in fact socialist and communist nations are much worse, they kill far more of their own people because they remove from the common man the ability to even earn their own livings. The state controls the products and goods which are produced, which means they control the things you require to survive, which means they control your life. As I detail in my bulletin, posted in respose to this thread - Summary of killings for Communism In fact most of the 'horrors' attributed to capitalism, like those in this post, are due to government interference, what aspects of capitalism demands Rockefeller has control of an Army? Power is what kills people, not trade. And in socialist and communist countries, far fewer people control most of the power. Political Scientist R.J. Rummel, a nobel peace prize runner up, has estimated that communist nations have killed about 120 million people.

capitalism, that is, the necessity to trade value for value freely, without government coercion, SAVES lives, it has created the richest, freest, wealthiest and healthiest people to have ever existed in the history of humanity. Poverty is the NATURAL state of man, it is only through utilizing resources and human intelect that man has been freed from the burden of farming 16 hours a day just to stay alive.

Why Socialism Failed
Published in Ideas on Liberty - June 1995 - Posted on February 13, 2002
by Mark J. Perry

Socialism is the Big Lie of the twentieth century. While it promised prosperity, equality, and security, it delivered poverty, misery, and tyranny. Equality was achieved only in the sense that everyone was equal in his or her misery.

In the same way that a Ponzi scheme or chain letter initially succeeds but eventually collapses, socialism may show early signs of success. But any accomplishments quickly fade as the fundamental deficiencies of central planning emerge. It is the initial illusion of success that gives government intervention its pernicious, seductive appeal. In the long run, socialism has always proven to be a formula for tyranny and misery.

...........
.........
........
.........

By providing a powerful system of incentives that promote thrift, hard work, and efficiency, capitalism creates wealth.

The main difference between capitalism and socialism is this: Capitalism works.

the article proves the flaws if socialism, but not disprove the claims posted in the fisrst post...

as a matter of fact only paints a rosy image of capitalism. So rosy that is pure theory, like the pur theory sustained the socialist own rosy idea of socialism and communism...

take the conclusion " By providing a powerful system of incentives that promote thrift, hard work, and efficiency, capitalism creates wealth."
now see in the realworld how this work:
mexico after the NAFTA has seen a growth in the size of its economy, but according to estimates, between there has been bettween 30% and 70% of job losses in the country side have -okay mexican estimates are not very accurate- .
there is more wealth in mexico and more wealth to the american exporters who sell stuff to mexico, but there are more poors too.

for all the theory about how "capitalism works" there is a lack of memory on how capitalists to the bone were the developed societies during the industrial revolution

production and maximization of profit, were the only important thing.

do you think it worked out? poverty was disseminated all over the place, and even when people did have a job, they were still miserable and their children were miserable too, and children of them too.

it was until the wwwI when the war destroyed all those societies where the countries rebuild things from scratch and found a balance between patronizing socialist and wild capitalism .

the article said -erroneously - that capialism answer better the human nature of competitiveness, and socialism is flawed from the get go.
okay, what about the gregarious instinct of the human beings?
the article conveniently omit that other characteristic of the human nature. so much for that 'biological' argument.

so far a combination of capitalist societies with some socialist tools to avoid poverty and misery have proved to be the best combination...
and you don't have to go to sweeden to find that.
not even canada.
here in the U.S. there was a more equitative distribution of wealth until recently.
the economic reforms in the 80's even when they picked up the economy as a whole, they left behind some loses and every new president the economy becomes more and more vertical and the chances of upward mobility -the staple of the american way of life- have become more and more slim..

remember one of the very first action of the bush administration? eliminate the budget for the federal office in charge of favorable loans for small bussines... that was a tool the clinton administration used to level the ground for financial opportunities.... i bet it was seen as a socialist leftover by some neocon, and they just dumped hat office in the trash....

yes, the money can be used to finance some more lucrative -in the short term- area, but at the same time is conmdemninng people to stay longer or forever as salary workers .
capitalism? you bet. does it work? yes,
but not the kind of capitalism that works well.
