A new live stage production celebrating cheerleading
Seeking 40 accomplished atheletes including: dancers, gymnasts, acrobats and cheerleaders to power this high energy, high stepping, high flying eye-popping tour de force. CHEER! celebrates the sport, spirit and athleticism of cheerleading.
Looking for real cheerleaders and dancers - men and women, all heights and sizes, all ethnic types. The show will include all styles of dance and cheer: tumbling, dance, stunts, pyramids, flyers and bases. There is no singing in the show. Must be 18 yrs or older.

Please come dressed in appropriate body conscious clothing and be prepared to learn a combination that includes any of the above-mentioned skills. Everyone should bring a picture and resume stapled together.

Audition tour will take place May 17-24, 2006 in Dallas, TX, Miami, FL, Los Angeles, CA, Louisville, KY and Columbus, OH (please see additional sheet for specific location time & information). The rehearsals for the workshop of the show will be July 10-August 6 in Denton, TX. Small weekly stipend ($150 per week) plus room and board are provided. An international tour and potential Broadway run of the show will take place in 2007.

CHEER! will be produced by The Viertel/Routh/Baruch/Frankel Group whose credits include the Broadway productions of The Producers (winner of a record-breaking 12 Tony Awards) and Hairspray (winner of 8 Tony Awards), the long running international sensation Stomp. www.rfpny.com
