Within 2 days the entire world learns of events in Homestead...given the military operation, half the townspeople have a horrific story to tell, and 200 people suddenly show up on shore naked and disoriented, one of which is Larkin. A creature is easily trapped using a human as bait, and is analyzed to determine its true nature, with a virus introduced to kill them all. Immediate blood tests mandated for all located in Florida, including the military, which exposes the air force officer responisble for sending the trucks to the fishpeople in Homestead. Hybrids are rounded up to live in a prison camp. Dave, Mariel, and Tom are killed in a prison break aided by Dave and Russell. Larkin escapes...and she, Russell, and all the kids go driving into the distance.

"Six months later...." a naked disoriented person wanders up on a beach in Portugal.

Nicely done. But I don't want Mariel dead!!! And I definitely need some closure between Kyra & Lewis.
