Well for Males , the Penis is always problematic ... usually demanding more than it's share of the attention.

Ultimately , I think it probably leans closer to true that there are no divisions between mind and body , thought and thinker , self and other , etc. and any divisions that we create are for our own purposes , so that we may one day realize that everything was connected.

So we can say that a brain with problems regulating seratonin will lead to a depressed state for the owner of such meat , or we could say that depressed states can lead to brains which have difficulty regulating seratonin - and we saying the same thing.

What is important , is ... there is enough of our true self left to start tearing down walls , removing divisions , and taking the labels off - and see what it is that we are here to experience.

It is true that if we do not take care of our bodies , our minds will suffer - but a suffering mind or body has just as much to teach about the nature of reality as one that is in peace - and sometimes the path to peace is through suffering.

Well , if it seems as if I have used a lot of words to say nothing at all , that is probably true .... . in what ways does your own internal dialog resemble this?

People often forget that the mind is part of the body and the body part of the mind. If we could remember this, all our pains and dis-eases would make much more sense to us and we would actually be able to learn from them and release them much faster thereby creating instantaneous healing in ourselves.

I have always found that dance is the best outlet for emotional/mental and physical healing. The combination of the healing effects of the music and the exertion of dance is symbolic of our dual existance as physical and light beings.

I also have recently taken up Kundalini Yoga practice and have had outstanding physical and mental as well as spiritual rewards in a very short time (about 2 weeks of practice, every other day). Kundalini is excellerated yoga....very demanding and twice as rewarding. Of course, any type of yoga is an ideal way to coordinate the mind, body and spirit.

if by master you mean quiet then yes i agree
for us to be able to even begin to quiet our minds we must first quiet our bodies
and only after we quiet our minds can we hear our self

Some find that quite come from practice and determination. My first encounter came from shock.. something that proved my mind so wrong that it ran away to hide and left me sitting there with jsut my spirit and emotions. The world then lighted up around me and I continued to traverse the night completely at peace for the first time in my life. I learned may thing that night and never asked a single question. The following morning the mind had gotten over it's fit and returned with a vengeance demanding answers an was like the husband attacking the wife wanting oto know where she had been all night. Unfortunatly in this case the mind makes up itself and any incoming answers are morphed into incoherent thought until it is contained controlled and reminded that it has no power and has no need to take over everything. The things in your life yu let happen are where you will find the answers. The best questions are the ones answered out of sequence. I always perceived it as walked across a lake touching hte horizen. As you step from stoone to stone you can stop and look up and see where yo uare going.. or look back and see where you are from, but the minute you attempt to walk forward or backwards and do not pay attention to the stones you are stepping on you are bound to fall. Once you have fallen the flow is disrupted and you have to spend your time climbing back upon the rocks to begin walking again.

Moral is that you must watch where you step and when you choose to perdict the future or dwell on the past.. make sure you stop and are not trying to use the future or past to move you to the next stone.. for you will fall.

it feels best for me not to think about the mind as myself, but the sensations underneath or inside my self, deeper self. Instead of seeing myself as an emotion, I can also see myself as say physical sensations such as pain and its opposite, seeing the thought of myself as feelings inside my physical body, with mind and ego being a part of that body, but just a part.

When i do this, all thoughts and questions of self feel answered. The I am, in my sensations of being alive and reality, is a comfortable place to rest when i forget i'm alive and start to unconsciously beleive that i am my... imagined thought forms. Which I am not because they are imagined, I couldnt Imagine, in the first place, unless the "I am" existed to ever start imagining at all. lol.

basically i don't feel we are a thought form in our minds, what we are can only be felt, our minds feel emotions while our bodys feel sensations, what is the difference between the feel of grass under your feet or a passing emotion or thought about self?

I always broke it down in the threesome of self... Me, Myself and I Mind Body and SOul. The battle can wage on or they can unite to establish a movement.. short and worth thinking over. I actually ahve many writings on this but they are meant to be shared on a person to person basis.

i know that the mind is never satisfied also, it needs cars, lots of clothes, and then its still never happy... however the body is easily satisfied, it gets cold, you go inside and are warm, and it's content...

mind and body are easy concepts but soul is not as easy. could you give me a sign post for soul?

Soul is the bridge that connects us to everything else. The all knowing all releasing and accepting being within ourselves. the shell and the filling. It can go farther... depending on what and when we decide to do it.
