THE END OF BEST OF SEVEN

Well here is the official announcement:

I have decided to put an end to BEST OF SEVEN. I started the band in 1999 with Rob, Denny and Brian. Decided to take a break in 2001 for a year then, reform with Darrell and Joe in 2002. I am proud of what both lineups accomplished, being signed to Union Entertainment, recording @ Cherokee Studios, seeing my CD in retail stores, it has been truly amazing. I just feel that I have invested alot of time, money and effort into something that really has long overstayed it's welcome. I am not laying down or quitting the biz. Actually I have a fire in me right now that I haven't felt in years. I am recording a solo CD, signed to Universal Music Publishing and am writing almost everyday. I also cannot stay in a band with people who are strangers anymore. I do and will always consider Rob family, even though we aren't in the same band anymore I will always support whatever he does in the future. He deserves to be in a heavier band that doesn't hold him back and lets him beat the shit out of his drums. I wish him luck.As for Matty, unfortunately he missed out on most of the good times and only saw the shell of what once was. You are a great guy and I wish you luck also. Joe, seems to have everything going for him, I just wish we could have become friends somewhere in the last couple of years. It is a shame. You are a talent and I wish you luck. Denny, you are still my brother and Brian, I hope to see you again soon! As for BEST OF SEVEN's new CD. Who knows at this point what will happen. Some of it is really good. So Farewell to our friends out there. Until we meet again.

It was a good long ride.... hell I only caught the tail end of it, but it was a great time. I had almost 2 years of great music and some awesome memories. I know all the boys will go on to do great in life.

Shane- You're a great singer and you've got a good future ahead of you with your solo work.. and believe me, I'll be behind you every step of the way.

Robbie- keep beating those drums and dropping those sticks! ;) I hope to see you rocking soon

Joe- Whether you keep rocking or go full time to your comic books, you've got a great future ahead of you... you're one of the most talented people I know

Matty- You only got to catch the tail end of BO7, but yet it you I know the best... I'll always have this band to thank for one thing... introducing us to each other. You've been a wonderful friend and I'll continue to be there for you, no matter what! Don't you dare give up that bass, you rock at it and you know it!

Thanks again for all the memories and good times boys... It was great getting to know you all and I hope you all keep in touch.

Fuck, the drum sticks Rob gave me are a fricken national treasure now! RIP BO7. Good luck to you all.
