I don't just play bass, I play MTD's. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

Just got mine a few months ago. Unfortunately, most of my gigs have been on upright. The few gigs I have played it on has not only impressed me, it has impressed my employers. Dialing in a working tone is incredibly easy, and I am normally a bit slow at that. I've got a couple of studio sessions coming up in the next few weeks, I am anxious to hear how the 535 sounds in playback. My (formerly) beloved Sadowsky might find itself looking for a new home.
And let's not speak of the incredibly comfortable neck or the string to string balance.

Amen. I don't even have the real deal yet, just a couple Czechs, and a Korean, and I still shout a hearty amen.

The MTD has a sound of its own. I have met bassist, who have done everthing imaginable to their basses in a futile attempt to imitate the MTD sound. They will plug in their basses, and say listen to that...what does that sound like? I'll say, it's sounds similar to an MTD. Then I plug in my bass, and say, "But This is the Real sound you are looking for.
