South shore baby: we got Long Beach, Jones Beach, Fire Island, the hamptons and Montauk. What does the north shore have? A big mud puddle called the Long Island Sound. What are you going to say, the Gold Coast? Who cares...

south shore...non rocky beaches like the north shore...buh i still dont like long island beaches PERi0D cuz the water is kinda greenish greyish

With the exception of the hamptons and a few little towns here and there, the money and nicer towns are on the north shore as a whole. You'd figure having the nicer beaches on the south shore it'd be different, then again (sorry to offend some of you) look at places like Mastic beach, it's a dump.

I've got 2 say the North Shore is better than the South Shore..... cauz u may have nicer beaches..... but when u can only use them 3 months a year who cares...
I have just as much fun drunk off my ass in december at a north shore beach as I do at South Shore beach.....

I prefer the south Shore, more fun, more real people, less concerned about mommy and daddy's wallet.
that's sucha stereotype though.. only certain places are like that.. i know my area has people like that, but they arent as bad compared to some places
