GROUP RULES AND POLICIES -- New Mexico Militia

The New Mexico Militia Myspace Group is located on the Internet at:

RULES AND POLICIES:

1. The New Mexico Militia group is a functional anarchy. It is an unmoderated
web/email discussion list with no topic restrictions. The group owner,
Michael W. Blessing, will only intervene in cases of:

a) Sustained ad hominem -- i.e. written assaults on people which do
not include actual substantive arguments;

b) Use of the list for dissemination of "spam" (unsolicited commercial
bulk email) or non-commercial equivalents (i.e. messages, usually
cc'ed to a number of lists, from persons who do not actually
participate in list discussions).

For both offenses, whatever penalties imposed are a warning, followed
by "capital punishment" (expulsion/banning from the list). Guilt for
both offenses shall be determined solely on the basis of the judgment
of the list owner.

[Basic "rule" here is be civil to other list members - start making
threats and you get the boot. Aside from that, this is Liberty Hall -
feel free to spit on the mat and call the cat a bastard. Just don't
complain if the cat calls you one back.]

2. The validity of the concept of "intellectual property" has been a
subject of considerable debate, discussion and disagreement on other
lists, in the Congress and the courts. In order to head off potential
disputes pertaining to the IMPLEMENTATION of various interpretations
of that concept, all content posted to the list on or after 06
April 2006, excepting content explicitly marked as copyrighted with
whatever rights reserved within the message in which it initially
appears, and excepting content originating outside the list and
subject its own pre-existing license terms or other rights
protections, shall be deemed covered by a Creative Commons
Attribution License, which may be viewed at at:

http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/

3. Anyone posting messages to the list saying "UNSUBSCRIBE ME!!!" or
"TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST!!!" will be left ON the list, ridiculed and
finally banned when they do leave. The way out is very clearly marked
- if you want out, use it.
