So, when Hiro told Sylar that all the heroes come together to defeat him, and that he dies alone, did anyone wonder if this was the real future now for Sylar. I mean the way Hiro said it made me think that he went into the current future and saw how Sylar really will die. I know he could have been making it up, but Hiro does not lie that well.
You also have to keep in mind that Hiro, along with majority of everyone else, thinks that Sylar actually is dead. He "witnessed" the burning of the body. But yeah, I definatly think that Hiro saying that others actually managed to kill Sylar is gonna put him more on edge and protective of himself

I forgot that he saw the body burned....so he very well meant that was how he thought Sylar die....I was hoping there was another ending that we were yet to see.....
He could have been talking about Sylar’s immediate future, at the end of season one when all the heroes united against him in Kirby Plaza. Was Hiro there when the Sylar doppelganger body was burned? I’ll have to go rewatch that episode, I’m not sure that Hiro was ever aware that Sylar survived season 1.

well, at least, he was on the set when it was filmed...

Wait, it was Nathen that was burned anyways, but if Hiro was not there,
than my original statement still stands,
Hiro may be talking about a future death that we have not yet seen. Hiro may have jumped forward to see an great end to Sylar....
Just a thought, or a hope...a huge battle to end it all!!!!
No, as was said it was ’Sylar’s doppleganger body.’ Remember, the shape shifter that Sylar got his power from died in Sylar’s image to make people believe he was dead the first time. Noah even had to check it out to be sure, and realized it wasn’t Sylar at all. He saved it for later, and after the memory swap that body was taken to burn so that people would think Sylar was finally dead for the third time lol.

My big question is: Where is Nathan’s body? Perhaps frozen in a company vault waiting for the next person with a "re-animator" ability to pop up?
One thing that has been weighing heavy on my mind lately is the time line...
I think we can gather from all that has been said that the instance at Kirby Plaza either:
A) happens differently then the season 1 outcome because of Hiro’s actions (and we may see a recap or re-do of Kirby Plaza go down as the finale this season)...
Or:
B) happens exactly the way we saw it in season 1 because "Knight Rider" Hiro (as I like to call him) covered his tracks, and Charlie was eventually out of the season 1 end story, with all going as seen...
Except for two things. Sylar does not obtain Charile’s ability (which later on in season 2 becomes moot) and Charlie lives (but in a different span of time, being pursued by "Knight Rider" Hiro). Season 1 Hiro has no idea what’s going on (with exception to the bathroom meeting where Knight Rider calls him a "Moron" after Hiro jumps back in time).
It’s apparent that now there is an unseen story line going on that ties into season 4, and it’s been happening all along (I hate time travel)...
EX: The one tie in that I found interesting, that now makes even more sense to me, is the reaction Sylar has when Hiro appears in Kirby Plaza and lays a katana into his gut... Remember the quote "YOU!" from Sylar?
If you think about it long enough it tends to jell quite nicely... Here’s a guy that foresaw Hiro killing him, saw a comic book of Hiro killing him, and now has "Knight Rider" Hiro telling him that he will die. Sy wasn’t about to let this happen. As we all know, so much had changed by the climax of season 1 (Sylar thinking he was the hero and in turn trying to kill Peter because Pete was the bomb) that I can now see why Sylar was so surprised when Hiro stabbed him...
The future at that point had been changed and Sylar knew it. The bomb was going to go off. Season 1 Hiro had become the wild card in realizing he had a path and destiny to follow... Hence, popped onto the scene, changed history (because "it’s not set in stone"), and belted out a "yatta!" At that point he was set upon a new destiny which is laid out in season 2 (which directly affects season 3 & 4, effecting season 1 - I hate time travel!)
Heck! Sylar had to be completely surprised! How can Sy stop Parkman’s bullets instantly but couldn’t stop a four-foot sward at 10 MPH over a 7 second period from piercing his chest. Destiny works wonders, don’t it?
Bottom line, what I am getting at, is that the battle at Kirby Plaza could have been the same time line as the one we are now in (with the modifications from seasons 2 & 3 of course). The theory of a new time line is true, but in a different context...
We’ve seen it, but from a different point of view.
EX: The one tie in that I found interesting, that now makes even more sense to me, is the reaction Sylar has when Hiro appears in Kirby Plaza and lays a katana into his gut... Remember the quote "YOU!" from Sylar?
At the time I figured it was in recognition from when he saw Hiro during the whole Sylar killing his mom incident... Remember he caught Hiro’s sword and froze and broke it, and Hiro had to get it fixed.

Oh ya, totally. It just seems to hit home more so now. Hiro is just constantly messing up his plans one way or another... Imagine you’re Sylar, about to fix your next victim, then BAM! Your in the luggage compartment of a Grayhound bus... There is also what you said and the instance in Issac’s apartment with Ando... Hiro is to Sylar in the world as a pebble is to foot in a shoe.
You’re Sylar, thinking you’re about to save the world, then Hiro shows up with a katana... "YOU!" I would be completely frustrated if I were Sy.
But mostly I wanted to get that time line theory out there. I tend to think that we’re not seeing an alternate future at all, just the underlining story of season 1.
I think what happened in the last episode with hiro and sylar also gave sylar a better intention on killing issac because hiro could have told sylar anything at that point. If sylar didn’t believe him he could have killed him when his guard was down.
and about the last episode in season one when sylar said, you. when hiro teleported in at kirby plaza.it also makes since that he could’have just known because he read that comic book and he was previously following him when he froze hiro sword at sylars moms apartment. So this just proves once again that the new writers stepped on a few butterflies to point the show in the direction they wanted to.
I mean think about we know noah didn’t have an affair when we were watching this in 2006 so its obviously changed. Not that i have a problem with it. its just i can point out the crap and (SEE HOW THINGS WORK)

If so, this is a major foreshadowing.....
d
Hiro was there when they burned the body of the shapeshifter that Sylar killed.James Martin(the shapeshifter was still in Sylar’s form when he was killed. So Angela, Noah Bennet and Parkman led the others to believe it was Sylar after Parkman telepathicly made Sylar think he was Nathan, who had shapeshifted into Nathan’s form afterward. So Peter, Claire, Hiro, Ando and Mohinder think Sylar is dead.
