well i some wat agree its not so much the movie as is the writer! they based it off the books, but i think hollywood did a good job making them a tad bit scarier!

i think it has to do with desiring something you cant have and what youll try to get it anyway. most vampire stories are love stories. i guess it goes back to dracula.

There’s a whole bunch of different vampire stories. I saw a collegehumor.com video where they show all the different ones, from classic to Cullen. It all depends on the writer, in the case of Twilight she was writing a love story.

It’s a love story... Kind of like Romeo & Juliet... two worlds colliding.. It’s beautifully written... However, they did f**k up on the fight scene in Volterra. Edward is written as if nothing can really touch him... He has the mind reading thing so he can move out of the way before he’s attacked; not unless Alec uses his power to block all of his senses. The only one, in the book, that is suppose to bring pain to him in Volterra is Jane....

Okay, so Twilight. Just to inform the one’s that are putting Twilight down for Twilight being a romance/vampire movie ? For one The first movie having anything to do with vampires had some romance in it. Even the Dracula movies had part’s involving love or lust in it. Twilight is a great film and It’s a vampire movie for anyone and everyone. Especially Kids. Just because of Edward not busting into nothing after sun light hitting him.I think its great for people to think of other thing’s , new ideas etc. Twilight turned out really great!

The movies are not specifically for kids.. the writer melissa rosenberg said that herself and the books are for young adults. its a love story, who doesnt love a good love story and there is no certain age for love, I am 20 and I absolutely love the books and movie I cant wait for new moon.
