So, does anyone else have the feeling that the carnival folks have no idea what they are really doing trying to awaken Sylar?

technically the only way to waken him would be for mat to put his mind back in right now we are getting a hybridization of Nathan and Gabriel (good guy with a messed up past) I call him Nathan Grey :)

even though your mix has more relevace since sylar was a name made up by gabriel and has a better ring to it, i’d say sylar petrelli! lol

No... that was his name in volume 3! lol

When Sylar gets back his whole self, he’ll probably have Matt’s telepathy and maybe even the precog power. If so, they’d have no other choice but to use the Haitian on Sylar. Currently, this Sylar mixed with Nathans humanity, I do like. I don’t mind him not wanting to kill anymore.

me either because its either he kills and eventually dies or turns hero and truly makes up for the past and they can keep him around since he’s become such a favorite.

BTW sylar already has the precog power, from when he killed issac in season one, its just dormant and tracy’s power also well just part of it unless he gets out in a warm room for days and works up a cold snap like tracy then revive twice as fast because of claire regenerative properties and then we got one helluva sylar! like he’s not bad enough already! lol

Just for the record, any power Sylar had in Season 1 is gone. It was erased by the virus. All that remained when he injected Claire’s blood was was his Intuitive Aptitude and telekinesis. Of course, he has gained some powers back, and it is possible he may encounter someone with an ability like Isaac’s again.

And by gained some powers back, he means from scratch. He’s gained new powers. He doesn’t have any dormant powers. Sadly, with his memory gone, he may not know the full range of his powers until he gets his memory back.

He had freezing power (aka James Walkercicle) from S1, which is probably what he means by "Tracy’s power". If not then, well, I’m lost too.

yes thank you, come on it hasn’t been that long guys!

He got that one from james walker, which is molly’s dad i know this because there was no incident of people being frozen to or after death until he went to kill molly.maybe it manifested right after he killed him because he was frozen and mohinder mentioned him being the one special in one of his phone calls.

While that was the writer’s intention, this old, old debate has demonstrated that it’s not really possible for Sylar to have gotten the power from James. Just because there was no incident before doesn’t mean anything.

If you look at the picture of James Walker, frozen in place in mid-bite eating his Wheaties, you would conclude James was killed with the freezoid ray. But if James was killed with freezing, then Sylar would have had to have that power BEFORE he got to James Walker.

not necessarily because its a possiblity he didn’t know how that power worked so as he went to take it from him it could’have manifested maybe that would’have happened to anyone he killed with that particular ability. its really hard to say what is and what isn’t when it comes to that because we really don’t know we can only make accurate guessing!
