I want to challenge Louisiana students to help register their families to join the Louisiana Film Museum.
For each Louisiana school that reaches a goal of signing up 25% of their families, the Louisiana Film Museum will award a Sony HDR-XR520V Camcorder to the school and assist in developing a school-based Louisiana Film club for students to produce their own films. The deadline for registering families is January 15, 2010.
Once a Louisiana school has reached the goal of registering 25% of their families, each school will have a chance to enter one film for a State-wide competition and awards program. Deadlines for individual film entries will be April 1, 2010.
